This use to be my favorite plasma place but recently the staff is so slow and rude, it’s now become my least favorite place to donate and probably won’t be back. Over half of the beds are open and there’s 10+ people waiting for a bed and they don’t call anyone for at least a half hour. The pay sucks compared to the other plasma centers. The only good thing is it’s clean but definitely not worth the hassle of 2, 3 or 4+ hours you have to go through to get done. I don’t think I’ll be back

The entire process is extremely slow!! I understand the importance of donating plasma and the people it can help. I just don’t have 2 to 4 hrs to sit there & wait. There is no sense of urgency with staff. I have never gotten out of there under 2 hrs. I am very discouraged with going back.

This is the slowest place I’ve ever been to. Their process is just horrible. It takes them 20 minutes to screen one person. They only have one person screening. Then after you wait an 1.5 hours for screening you have to wait another 1.5 just for them to start the needle/donation. On a good day you might get out of here in 4 hours. Worst plasma center in the Galaxy! The staff is nice that’s the only decent thing about this place.

They need to seriously fix their system and hire more help because we shouldn’t have to be standing at the counter for 10+ minutes waiting to get signed into the kiosk. That’s how you lose donors. I will be going back to Octapharma after this because this is ridiculous. They at least pay better and have their system setup up to where you can use an app to get signed in instead of having to wait for a kiosk.

This is the worst plasma place in Wichita and I have been to all three. I have waited long times. I have been stuck wrong multiple times. The most recent time they somehow cancel my visit after me standing up here for 1.5 hours. They called my name while I was in the bathroom for literally maybe 2 minutes. Then when I asked if they could move up to the front since they cancelled it while I was in the bathroom the nurse was very rude in saying that they can’t do that and it was my fault which yeah I was in the bathroom but for them to cancel and then not even attempt making it right. Very unprofessional and most of them seem like they hate the donors they are rude most of the time. It use to be good 2 years ago. Now it takes so long the new donors get done before the return downers.

First time attempted donor. Went in and was told my veins are good to go, went through the whole process for a new donor, get called to a bed and then I’m told that my veins are too “iffy” to donate and that when the phlebotomist is uncomfortable sticking, the person who did the vein check is who is supposed to come stick us. Well that person had gone home for the day! I spent almost 3 hours only to be told that I can’t donate and to make it worse, I don’t get compensated for my time. Sure I can go back in 2 days and try again, but who has the gas or additional time to waste? Please do better.

The process to donate here takes entirely too long. Average times are usually 4 hours or more. As I sit currently here after 2 hours 45 minutes there are still about 8 people ahead of me to get a bed to donate. At the rate of calling one person every 20-30 minutes I will be here 5 FRIGGIN HOURS!!! And Biomat usually is not even nearly as busy as CSL or Octapharma. I have donated for nearly 30 years and this place is going to make me retire from it forever!! I am already hungry again and I ate right before I got here Lol what a joke!!

This place does not deserve 1 star it use to the best. They are slow but appears they cut all the wrong corners to boost their profit. They have 4 bays but only use 2. With 4 people working bay area so they make you wait 2 hrs in the back because if you walk in the door you would leave. 2 screeners. And they falsify new return donor rates. They use the words new donor. Not saying you only get bonus on 1st and 2nd visit . no signs reference new return donor rates. You find out on 3rd visit. So they are tricking people to come vack and not paying for it. Some people will get sruck there. But after screening i left and wont ever return. I dont do buisness with deception

Out of all the other plasma donor centers this one is by far the slowest. At other centers I can be in an out in a hr at minimum. Here it takes atleast 2 to 3 hrs for regular donations, 4 if new to donating. First you check in then wait. Then you get through screening, and wait again for another 20-40 minutes. Where the second waiting room is has the world’s grossest bathroom that needs to be cleaned way more. Its sickening but it’s all you got while trapped waiting to get hooked up.

Jayden was great- very concise yet detailed with the info he gave me. Getting stuck was no problem either and the layout and cleanliness of the building were more professional than some places I have donated at before. Overall great experience!
