So far going there has been good , nice smooth , I do see they are understaffed it’s not a compliant I’m not in a rush !! I wish more people would realize one nurse calling out affects everyone’s day including ours as a donor , one note I will add is the fact that four nurses didn’t seem to see my easing my hand when I felt sick , AGAIN I know short staffed and busy but I can’t hold my arm up for long when feeling light headed.

Was the first line this morning- the nurse to do check in didn’t showed up until 7:10 and didn’t get to her check in procedure until 7:20 then the nurse couldn’t get a blood pressure with the one cuff she was using so I had to wait 5 minutes- so I did and when I returned to finish the check in process – the nurse had changed to another blood pressure cuff and my blood pressure was 122/71 and I then was seated on bed two to donate my plasma- at that point there was only one tech to draw plasma- Ari did an awesome job as she was setting up machines- sticking and doing the finish steps for the plasma donation. Concerned that there needs to be back personal as when I left at 8:15 am there were at least 7 people waiting for their check in and 4 waiting to be called to the donation bay. I know you can’t predict call offs- but there should have been management there to help Ari – as to get the machines ready- unhook people when their donation was finished and to clean the beds to make the donation process must smoother. Especially on weekends!!!!!

Constant blood/pee on the floors of the bathrooms, screening takes 10 mins per person because the screeners like to play on their phones and take forever to do a simple screening most places have done in half the time, the people running the machines are always carrying on instead of doing their jobs also making the process take longer, I drink plenty of water every day but the donation process still takes forever because these people can’t seem to hit a vein very well, the pregnant one called me stupid because I’d rather stand while I wait instead of sit. Terrible staff needs complete overhaul do not recommend.

I went in for a interview, and a big guy kept coming in interrupting the interview I was having, causing distractions making funny faces and noise being unprofessional. I sat in a distracted interview for a hr just to get ignored afterwards. After the interview I followed up with the Lady T days later and she turned into a ghost it’s like I was never interviewed and for them to be under staff well I see why. I was looking forward to this job due to me being a certified phlebotomist but I see company’s pick and choose.

Terrible ,the woman who stuck me went straight through my veins which caused blocking in the tubes which caused blood to bubble under my skin then had someone else come to fix what she did and that didn’t work either because there was already a blockage then after sitting there for 3 hours and being stuck 3 times I left with no payment a high bruise on my right arm and pain in my veins in my left arm. She then told me I needed to drink more water because that’s what blocked the tubes , although they check your hydration before hand and mines was fine smh never again

The amount of time it takes the staff to transition you to actually getting your plasma taken is entirely too long. Im not your average impatient complaining person and hate to do it. I just think they have a serious need to speed it up a bit. A lot would be great but even just a bit would be helpful.Ive been there 2 times and was there 4 hours the 1st time and close to 3 hours the 2nd time. I even checked in on the app prior to arriving and did the questionnaire prior to arriving. The staff is pretty hard working and likeable..Just could put some pep in that step. One other major thing to note is if you are going to donate and have a referral from a friend they do not ask you and when you ask them you are told its too late and you have to say something about it very 1st thing when you walk in or they will not honor it. That just is plain wrong and we all know that. Facility is clean. Just plan on being there half of a day to be safe when you go.

This is probably the rudest group of employees I have ever seen at a business. They get mad if you come in within an hour of them closing and speak rudely about you loud enough for you to hear. Also, if they don’t like you or you go in close to them.closing they will lie and say your proteinuria iron is too low. Only 2 employees can actually stick your veins correctly. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I’ve since wanted to update. CSL is such a better facility. The staff, the staff is everything. As i went more to octapharma the staff was always rude talking amongst themselves and not to the donor’s. Which if people did not donate they would not have a job. I think people forget that. I would definitely recommend going to CSL.
