I’ve been coming here for over a year now. I’ve only had issues with one person. Who no longer works there. The rest are amazing and haven’t had any other issues. Yes sometimes the wait is long. But they are very good.

Despite all the negative reviews, I don’t have any issues at this place. Yes, there is often quite a long wait, procedures, etc., but most of the staff is friendly and helpful. This is my experiences.

What a lot of people don’t seem to understand is that most healthcare-type facilities are usually under-staffed. The donor to staff ratio is usually quite lopsided, sometimes even when CSL is fully staffed, therefore, patience and understanding go a long way. Most of the staff is very friendly and professional. The facility is clean and well maintained. Overall, CSL does a good job and a lot of the experience is a matter of perspective.

Don’t go if you don’t absolutely need the money. They will waste a lot of your time. They might “blow” you’re vein. They are the only place around and know it. They screwed up my address the first time. Second time went fine. 3rd time they blew my vein, saline and went into the muscle instead of the vein. I’ve been back up 3 times- 1st time bruise is too big (understandable), second time the nurse didn’t give me a blue card so I’d have to wait and go back through after already being there over an hour, 3rd time different nurse tells me can’t donate at all until the bruise is completely gone. Told 3 different things by 3 different nurses. I don’t need the money and I don’t know that I’ll come back. If you value your time it might save you some to go anywhere but here even if it’s a further drive.

I had my first plasma donation here recently, and seeing all the other reviews here had me worried. It did take some time, about 3.5 hours, but that was from doing first time physicals and other work, not from waiting around or anything like that.

I’ve donated plasma here off and on for over a decade. Some of the same people work there! There are lots of new faces as well. I haven’t met someone that worked there that wasn’t friendly. They’re very professional and helpful. Depending on what time you donate, and if you’re a return donor, you can either be in and out in an hour or 3. For those that are afraid of needles, you can probably get over it—my husband did! The phlebotomists are great—I almost never even feel a stick. Donating plasma does not hurt—you don’t even feel it. They don’t have tvs or movies playing anymore like they used to. Drink lots of water and you’ll donate faster. Located behind peerless tire (across Anderson from westloop). Donor fees are higher than they’ve ever been.

There are a few nice people, but most are complete idiots. I had gotten deferred for a low-protein donation after the fact. I came back today and talked to the Manager Sheri who seemed to have all kinds of trouble understanding what I clearly communicated to her (that I had to give a sample again today). She’s always unpleasant and difficult.

This place chronically is understaffed. Look at the employees, they are exhausted and tired of this place and the inability to properly manage their staff. The new typical wait time is 2hrs before even getting to a bed. At 9 am on a Monday, there were already 20 people sitting waiting to be called back. Nearly 2 hrs later, my number still hasn’t been called. Looking in the back I see 2 people sticking. Maybe it’s time to start paying your employees more than just McDonald’s and treat them right. Listen to your employees

Never has a problem till today. Right before I got poked my lady looked at my stomach and asked if I was for sure not pregnant. I am already self conscious so that made it worse. I ended up keeping my stomach sucked in the rest of the time being sitting uncomfortably
