Two reasons. The first one is money. I would think that regular, continual donors would get some decent promotions. We’re the ones to be relied on. Just like you would take care of a returning customer. I had to consider if $120 per week was even worth it, and I have skipped weeks because it is not.

New donors beware!! If you are trying to get/finish the new donor bonus, the staff will try and bruise your veins on propose, I’ve been there twice and each time they just ram the needle in with no cares. They really don’t care if they hurt you or poke too far in cause they ment to do it, it’s insane honestly. be careful be safe

Ive been donating for 3 months now and all the staff that I’ve interacted with so far is great and friendly. My favorite person to start the actual donating process for me is Corey, she has a great attitude and is extra thorough before starting the process. The building is nice and clean. Recently they add some new procedures which make its so there isn’t much wait time, if any!

I’ve been donating since August 2022 and the experience at Biolife has gotten progressively worse. It takes 3 hours of waiting in incredibly long lines for a simple donation that takes just 1 hour at better, more organized, professional and friendly facilities. The employees will actively ignore you and allow you to wait for what seems like forever while they chat with each other. Or they are so busy with so few employees that it’s impossible to get help. The atmosphere of the place is blasting terrible music and rude employees. When I needed help checking in, the front desk lady (she’s younger with brown hair) greeted me by saying “what’s wrong with you”. The worst customer service. And the needles sticks always hurt and always are botched so that it throws off the alarm but you will sit there forever being ignored. One employee made me feel like dirt for regularly donating by saying “I always have to adjust your needle at least twice when you come in”. I won’t say this person’s name. I didn’t appreciate her complaining to me about the needles when if they did it correctly then it wouldn’t need adjusting. They treat donors like a burden and the employees seem to hate their job. Overall it’s just a terrible experience and not worth it.

I have had a good experience so far. They have a very friendly crew and make me feel welcome. AJ has done my screening my last three donations and does a great job! They have a good flow which helps speed up the donation process.

I have been donating since October and was told the base pay is $40 for the first day and $80 for the second. After 6 months, they lower the base pay. They are slow and take forever from the time you finish the questionnaire to the time you are sitting there for a minimum of 20 minutes just to get unhooked from the machine. Make sure your whole day is open from any plans if you want to donate here. Also, if you watch closely while you’re standing in line forever to get your vitals and blood checked prior to donating… THEY DO NOT CHANGE THEIR GLOVES AFTER EVERY PERSON THEY CHECK. I’ve at least witnessed 2 different workers do this. That’s a big no no in the healthcare industry. They should be protecting everyone who walks through those doors from transmittable diseases by changing their gloves, considering all they basically work with is blood and plasma. You’d think they know better. One day, they’re lack of cautiousness is going to shut them down. So, to sum it up, pay gets less and less, they can take upwards to 3 hours to get you in and out, and they are not careful between patients regarding sanitation procedures.

The wait time is way too long! It’s regular to start actual donation an hour after my appointment time. Last month I actually left after going through the vital sign check. When I left I was 90 minutes past my appointment time and the waiting area would have been another 45 minutes. This is all before starting donation. The facility needs to be open Monday and more employees are needed. I have a monetary goal that when reached will be the end of my donations. It’s not worth the time

Weird to say, but this place is great. The staff is professional and friendly, and everything works exactly as advertised. The staff is also really good about explaining the procedure, so if you have questions, it’s because you weren’t listening! 10/10 recommend.

I do early morning appointments so I’m in and out in an hour or less. Staff are always kind and pleasant. Dallas was personable while getting me prepped and an excellent sticker!

Wasted my time not once but twice. Came here waited in line and got deferred due to a stuffy nose. They told me to come back so I did. No symptoms no stuffy nose for them to tell me I was permanently deferred due to my allergies to perfume…. When I had stated previously that I was. Don’t waste your time on this place!!!!! They waste your time! Then you are treated to the unprofessional staff and haphazard system. The nurses Kristen was the most unprofessional and rude of them all. The director of the facility was even the one who rescheduled my appointment. Save your time go to BioMat! I would leave 0 stars if it would not let me! Big thumbs down!!!
