Everytime I go there. I spend an hour or more just waiting to start my donation. Then another hour to donate. The biolife in romeoville will have you donating in about 20 min. Csl on jefferson is about the same. The employees seem to have a very relaxed idea about work.

You can get more help and more training is needed, have been here twice on this coupon. Each time I couldn’t return due bruises and swelling. Causing me to miss out on my coupon deadline. Over the years I have always finished my coupon out before deadline. Without any interruptions. Coupons should be extended, when there’s a lack of training. I’m here again today I did ask if something can be done, I pray they don’t mess my arms up today, thanks.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They’ll blow out your veins and then bar you from donating for weeks at a time due to bruising. This is typically after you wait in line for over an hour at any given time of day. You could be the first person in line at open and you will still wait 15 minutes for the staff to get themselves together and hook you up to the machine. Disconnecting takes just as long. They are painfully understaffed and the process is absolutely not worth the pay anymore. There’s no reason a 45 minute donation should take 2+ hours. Donating used to be a much better experience, it is unlikely I will return. Going to make the drive to Bolingbrook from now on

Everyone is really, really nice. The place is super clean, too. I haven’t been anywhere else for a comparison, but this location is great!

The phlebotomists at this location are very slow! They spend way too much time talking and goofing around. Also there aren’t enough of them. Up to an hour waiting to get to chair, another 45-60 minutes waiting to be hooked up, another 15-30 minutes to be unhooked. Ridiculous!

Staff is friendly but that’s about the only positive thing I can say about this place. Joliet location is ridiculously slow. Had an appointment for 1PM. Didn’t get into a bed until 2:30PM and didn’t start donating until 3PM. 2 hours of waiting WITH an appointment is unacceptable.

I just recently started donating plasma, and the staff is always so kind. I try to go during off peak times so I don’t have to wait, usually the whole process for me is about an hour and a half with checking in and getting out.

On Sunday, August 6th around 8:30 am I came to donate. When I scanned my finger it said I didn’t have an appointment. I went to the desk and told them. I was told I had to have an appointment and that they could get me in two hours later. Mind you there was 1 person getting vitals done, no one in line for vitals, and no line to be sat at a bed. I also have been donating here since May. I’ve only ever had to have an appointment for my initial donation. Sunday was the first I’ve heard to needing an appointment or having that problem and I donate twice a week since I have started. If the center is going to appointments only they need to inform their donors and/or put a sign up to notify donors of this change.

I have donated approximately 65 times in last year. I’ve never had an issue with the donation process itself. Wait times are very excessive at times. They seem to be constantly short staffed. I don’t see the point in making an appt if you have to stand in line for an hour or more at times. It gets aggravating to give up 1/3 of your day at times for a 1 hour donation. Like today I had a 9:40 appt and arrived at 9:35. I didn’t get to screening desk until 10 and after that I had to stand in line behind 14 people waiting in line for donor chair…. that will take approx 45 mins to an hour and then an hour to donate. 2.5+ hours on a Sunday morning to donate.
