Went to donate platelets for the first time. Just one donation away from a gallon for whole blood. Was attended to as soon as I walked in the door. Everything was explained to me very accurately. I was treated very respectfully and had a couple of laughs. Emily B. took great care of me. What a wonderful, nice group of employees. I will definitely be returning to give blood and platelets again. Absolutley awesome!

Came here for the first time today. Netta was my phlebotomist and the person that helped me. She was amazing. I wanted to do platelets today but she suggested I do whole blood. I agreed.

I went to get my blood drawn. The girl who set me up must have been new because after she thought she had it in my vein she called another person over to help her and she moved it around, digging deeper in my arm. They thought they had it then asked a third person for help, moving the needle around digging even deeper. I have to give my blood all the time but this was the worst pain I’ve felt from it. I started crying so they immediately stopped then scoffed when I told them that they kept moving the needle around and that’s why I was crying. My arm still hurts. I hope they get better. More compassionate nurses in the future, and I’m never going back.

Donated blood today, via a blood donation drive by the Blood Donors of America. A friend and I were getting our pic taken together, at the very end of the day. We were the last 2 customers. The staff lady insisted that we not drop our masks, and that we distance, even for 3 seconds while a photo was snapped. I even told her I would hold my breath during the picture.

Just nasty employees! I would give blood often if I didn’t have to put up with the nasty rude people. Why would anyone willingly go to a blood drive to be treated like that. It’s no wander that they are always begging for blood! Last week I tried to donate at a blood drive at Wayne Trail School in Maumee. It was scheduled from 2 to 7PM. I went at about 2:15PM as a walk in. I was told nastily that they wouldn’t be ready for another 45 minutes and to leave. Great customer service. I never went back.

You are able to donate whole blood, platelets and double red cells at this location. You can walk in for whole blood but need to schedule for double red or platelet donations. The staff is experienced and have always been friendly to me. Donors seem to be fewer and fewer which is sad as the need has not decreased. I encourage all those who are able to donate.

Extremely rude staff. Everyone there appears to hate their job or hate working there. I donated recently… and prior to that was 2013. I want my family to donate, but we don’t need the rudeness. What happen to customer service? i honestly felt like I was interrupting there life. I am sorry you all are having a bad day.

Absolutely horrible… Where do I start. Was greeted by an annoyed woman who really didn’t seem to have time for us. Then we waited. My blood pressure was low in one arm and then done again on the same arm by a different woman and I was told I couldn’t donate. That’s fine if my blood pressure is low but they should have checked my other arm first. Oh well. My friend who I was with made it through the blood pressure and everything. The woman looked for a vein in but couldn’t find one so just said she couldn’t do it. Absolutely pathetic. You don’t just say no to a donor because you can’t find a vein… You ask for assistance by your coworker. It is so sad that I was trying to do my part and help out because I know there is a current shortage of blood products but the employees don’t even care anyway. Will not ever be back and I will be looking into contacting the American red Cross about this donation center.

If you can donate blood, red cells or platelets please step up and do so. We need more donors now. Take the opportunity to be kind and sharing. The staff are kind and friendly. I appreciate their focus on blood product safety. Please join and share the hope and life your blood means to those in need. Special thank you to those who already give.
