I donate platelets regularly,. once or twice..on Sunday. This way I can directly help people who need this component of blood.

This blood center is absolutely fantastic. Making an appointment to donate is so easy – you can call or go on their website. The staff is so sweet and they know what they’re doing. They’re also very efficient, and you’re in and out in no time. The post-donation seating area is also pretty awesome – lots of snacks. It makes me feel really great going there to donate my blood.

My husband and I were emailed and asked to donate blood at the Chabad Center North Ranch blood drive in the Pavilions Shopping Center today. I showed up and there was no signage although the door was open there was no one at the sign in area. I finally stuck my head into room where there were 2 medical attendants and no one else. The woman directed me to sign in and asked if I had an appointment. I didn’t but told her my husband would also like to come down to donate, she then told me she had an opening 1p (and hour and half later). Really? No one was there?? So I had to just give up and leave because we had afternoon plans. This is the 1st time I’ve ever dropped into donate blood and been turned away. Very discouraging experience

I like to go because it they make me feel good about myself. Although it is hard to get my hat back on my head afterwards. They have good popcorn and other refreshments for us too.

Being a regular blood donor is a great thing to do to keep ALL blood types well stocked so that they can be used by individuals in need. Knowing your own blood type is also very important! Having just donated my 21st pint of whole blood, I have to say that this organization employees courteous and professional staff that truly keep me coming back!

I haven’t returned since my double donation return was accidentally returned into my arm! I missed a week of work while the swelling went down and the fluid dissipated back into my body. I’m going to give you one more chance since you helped my father with our 0 negative blood recently needed in a hospital stay. We almost lost him! Thank you for being there! Please don’t hurt me when I show up to give you some more of my 0 negative.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly, the snacks are great and it feels good to do a good service. I really loved the new text message alerting me that my blood was used. It is good for us all!
