I scheduled an appointment to donate platelets (not my first such donation). It took 3.5 hours! The male nurses in the back have the personality and care of a drop of blood. I had to keep asking for water…not once did any of them ask if I was ok or needed anything. Total lack of communication or concern. I’ll be looking for another organization to donate with.

Went in to give power red, 5 minutes early for my appointment and there are 6 people waiting! I turned around and walked out. Same double book patients game they have always done. Last time I was here was over 2 years ago and it was the same BS. This time I was not waiting 45 minutes to an hour just to get called back. Donate blood anywhere but here, unless you want to spend half the day doing it.

The staff in the back area,need etiquette training and a lesson in manners. I was there for a blood donation 2 days ago, and their attitudes and behaviours were atrocious. Might well have been in a place manned by robots. No greeting, no pleasant interaction almost to the point of being hostile with donors.

I hate the service at this location. I made an appointment yesterday. I showed up 15 minutes early. I waited in the waiting room for the receptionist. After confirming others had been waiting for longer, I let the people in the back know that there was no one at reception and people were waiting.

Unfortunate that the donation center has a mask requirement. After vaccinations, I would expect the freedom to donate without the distraction of having to wear a face mask. I should have read my confirmation email in greater detail.

Absolutely mortified at the disgusting service my boyfriend and I received at this facility. We had an extremely long wait time despite the fact we had an appointment. The receptionist made racist comments towards my boyfriend and made us both feel uncomfortable while in the wait room. When we finally went into the room to have his blood drawn we were waiting another for another half an hour while the nurses were just chit chatting about miscellaneous things. When he finally did get the needle in, it wasn’t five minutes later before the machine started beeping and his arm was starting to bubble up. The nurse proceeded to chastise us claiming it was fault on our end that the needle was inserted incorrectly. My boyfriend now has a very bruised and very sore arm. We will never be coming back to this facility to donate blood again.
