Donated here before and it was fine. Today I had an appointment at 9:45am and was running late due to the road nearby being only one lane at the freeway overpass so I had to sit through multiple lights until I could get to this location. I called and was told I had a 15-20 minute grace period for donation. I arrived at 10am and was turned away because they were at lunch until 11:30am. They told me to just come back later. I was surprised because I have donated blood that took longer than 15 minutes so they would have gone to lunch while I was donating if I had made the 9:45am or would they have cut it short? Why even schedule donations so close to lunch and not inform the patient that they have no grace period beforehand (when I was told they did)? Unfortunate but I think if I donate blood with them again, it will be through an event so this doesn’t happen again.

I had a very good experience donating whole blood at this Vitalant location. The phlebotomist who processed and performed my donation was very kind and nice to talk to. When I told her that I get nervous during blood donations she did everything she could to make sure I felt calm throughout the whole process. Highly recommend this branch!

Great service, great staff, always nice, kind people. Never have I had any issues in over 2 years going here for my monthly blood draws.

Almost every lady I delt with was rude and seemed really unhappy to be at work. I asked a simple question which I expected a simple answer but instead was basically just told sorry I won’t answer that. I didn’t feel comfortable there at all.

Made an appointment at 1230 and when I got there they said my appointment didn’t matter and there was 4 people ahead of me. And I would be seen for a while. Why take appointments and not hold them?!

My experiences at this location have been very helpful and professional. I do both whole blood and/or platelet donations here regularly. It is clean and the phlebotomists experienced making for a good experience.

Visited location for a first time blood donation, I answered all the questions beforehand, and the employee logging my information didn’t scan my questions having me redo all of them with him which was not comforting. The actual blood donation itself was Okay, however I did not like how the employees complained about how my blood was flowing slowly when I was constantly squeezing my fist consecutively. The employee at the front desk was completely rude and disrespectful, I was asked if I had a face mask, I replied no, and she said “we don’t have enough mask for every visit.” The least you can do is provide refreshments, face mask without issues. I think the statement from this individual was completely disrespectful, and should be held responsible for their actions. The refreshments at this location are lacking, room temperature bottled water, and little to no rest area space.

I’m a 53-unit veteran at this location. However, since Vitalant has taken over management, I may be done donating here.

Why close for lunch when you can stagger lunches and run the whole day? Why open late and close early when people have to work.

I will not donate ever again here. I went there to donate on a Saturday and forgot a mask and they couldn’t give me one so that I could donate? And the woman behind the person who opened the door was very rude and was very short when she talked to me. You just don’t behave like that. Not showing great customer service at all. I took a morning out of my Saturday to help out and this is how I was treated. Even the Vet that I took my cat to was more polite and had masks to give their patients. Not all of us are going to buy a mask to go one place. They should have extras on hand so in case anyone forgets theirs, they have an extra one.
