When my usual location didn’t have availability, I went to the Norridge facility to donate platelets. (I prefer to donate platelets because I can do it more often.) They asked for a unit of red blood cells while they were extracting the platelets and I said that it was ok AS LONG AS IT WOULDN”T PROHIBIT ME FROM DONATING PLATELETS AGAIN AFTER 7 days. They assured me that it wouldn’t.

Really quick process – I think it only took 20 minutes for me to check in and donate and the staff was great. The only thing I want is more variety in snacks 🙂
