If you’re good with jumping through hoops, Vitalant is for you. It’s ridiculously hard to make an appointment and if you have to change it, good luck as well they will not answer the phone at the Midland donation center. United Blood Services was a 100% better than this place. I get texts all the time about blood shortages, but they make it so hard to donate, it’s no wonder there’s a shortage…

I travel and Donate all over the country, this place is hard to set up a appointment or get any help. Worst customer service. I have went in to Donate and not 1 person in the donating area and lady gave me a hard time. Like I was a problem for coming in.

I wish I could leave zero stars. In a time when blood donation is at an all time low in the Permian Basin, the incompetency and unprofessionalism of this Midland, TX Vitalant is at an all time high. I had called earlier in the week to reschedule an appointment for a day they were all ready full with appointments. HOWEVER, the receptionist said they take walk ins, just that it may take longer since they need tend those who have appointments. Makes sense. So I show up and they only have person donating and they turn me away. What the heck?!?! I have seen better heads on cabbage. Instead of making it easier to give blood, they make it harder. Never again with these yahoos.

From start to finish this place was some sort of amazing . honestly it was 1st time to give blood, and I didn’t know what to expect. The ladies, an the one gentleman dealing with all those women , were all so welcoming , an made me feel comfortable during whole process. They laughed smiled an consistently were just being nice on a Saturday morning , this is something you don’t get in Midland tx much anymore !! Thank you to this staff for reminding a local that there is still a bit of hope in our city !! To the gentleman that plays guitar , next time I’m gonna need a song !

I’ve been to this location several times without issue. This particular time I came in and was stopped and told I needed to be wearing a mask by the lady at the front desk. I should note that she wasn’t wearing once while she told me this. I told them I thought it was hypocritical to ask me to wear one without doing it themselves. I talked with the supervisor and was told that I would have to leave without giving my donation.

They came to my school and now i have terrible bruises on my arm. I never bruise nearly this bad when anyone else takes my blood, I barely bruise if at all. I passed out and they still sent me back to class where I passed out again. Terrible aftercare. Do not recommend at all.
