Personable staff that does great work. This review isn’t about them. This review is about Vitalant corporate, and is a direct criticism of them paying their medically trained staff, who offer a life-saving service, POVERTY wages. Absolutely abhorrent treatment of hard working men and women. Their CEO makes well over a million dollars a year, but refuses to pay their employees enough to afford a single-bedroom apartment in this area.

Came here today (2/27/19) to provide back to the community in the form of a blood donation for those who are especially in need. The staff here are pleasant and are quick to attend to you as soon as you come in. Snacks are also available as needed.

I’ve been going to this location for years and they always make me feel like an easy donor. The team is efficient and they check on me while I’m giving platelets to see if I’m cold, or hungry or thirsty. Better service than some restaurants I’ve been too I’ve always had a good experience here.

Place is very clean and the workers are polite. They will talk you into hooking up to the Alyx double red blood cell machine, which really wasn’t bad at all. They have plenty of refreshments while you wait and while you are giving blood, including coffee, cookies, snacks, juices, etc.
