I donate platelets every two weeks and have been working with the staff here since 2007 and love it. Clean and well-organized with plenty of Oreos and cranberry juice. Cool text notification when my blood component takes off to a hospital to help someone. 🙂

Vitalant is a good place to do whole blood donation, double red blood donation, or plasma. It’s right next to Subway. Everyone here was really nice and the person who did my donation got my vein the first time and it was painless! I wish it was that easy at the doctor! This is a place for charitable blood donation, it’s not a paid plasma center.

I had such an easy experience donating blood here. Claudia and Jeffrey were very kind, easy to talk to, and made the process of donating blood painless. Thank you for the great service and wonderful first experience of donating blood at this location.

Not crazy about this location after two donations and will probably start going elsewhere.

I donated with them several times, usually it’s Ok experience in comparison with other companies. Regardless of an appointment time scheduled usually the process is slower than estimated by them. Yesterday I answered all questions online to save time just to find out that their system is down and they can’t read them. So I had to answer paper ones on site again. It would be nice to know that ahead of time. Also, I was rejected for 2 month because I donated my plasma elsewhere(and that’s only because Vitalant didn’t want my plasma, they wanted only my blood). Why this info is not available ahead of time when you make an appointment online?? This could save my time and your employee time who needed to check everything per printed books. During my visits I had a feeling, that my donations are not appreciated and I have to do it because I owed to them, mainly because of some staff rudeness (not all). Please respect the donors and their time as you make money on them!!!

I donated blood for the first time in 20 years today – needless to say I was a little nervous for the whole process. The ladies at this location (especially Claudia) were wonderful and eased my mind. The center is extremely clean and I felt very safe donating in the middle of a pandemic. I will definitely be back when it’s time to donate again!

I need to donate once a month because my blood is too thick, prescribed by my doctor. I have called to schedule, nobody returns my call, I’ve called corporate and they couldn’t help me. I need to do this to avoid stroke and/or heart attack, nobody has taken my calls in over 2 weeks of trying. Worst company and worst customer service. Such a shame, especially when there’s a blood shortage. I give negative stars, I’m totally disgusted

Amazing service! They go above and beyond to ensure that the needs of their patients are tended to succinctly and punctually; doing their best to provide quality service in a timely manner, while also being professional and considerate of any individual that enters their care.

Such a disappointing and upsetting first time experience. I went in today to donate in honor of my mother who needs plasma infusions. The woman who assisted me was extremely rude and dismissive. She told me that I could not donate plasma and had to give whole blood. As a first time donor, I asked some questions about how it all works and the reason. She acted annoyed that I would dare to even ask a question and gave 1 word responses. There was nobody else in the office donating… She seemed extremely inexperienced and I doubt she even knew the answers to the questions I was asking. She messed up typing my information in the computer, had to take my vitals multiple times, couldn’t find the right equipment, and kept forgetting my responses to her questions. Then while actually taking my blood (which she said was a 7-14 minute process) she yanked my arm back and forth, kept yelling at me about squeezing the ball and turning my arm and jabbed the same vein over and over. Basically it was a huge inconvienece to her that I was DONATING my time and blood. She couldn’t figure it out so had to call another staff member over. Then when she took the needle out she just left my arm out bleeding and unbandaged while she typed information in the computer. I was there for an hour and a half for a 7-14 minute process (and I pre-filled out the questionnaire before my appointment). I will not be returning and it’s really sad that a non-profit donation center would treat donors this way when they are just giving out of the kindness of their hearts.
