Everything is nice, I just wish to have a cup holder for the water bottle, it’s a little awkward to put it between my legs

My first blood donation experience was a little over a week ago. I was pleased with the experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Everyone was very nice and answered all my questions. The lady who started my IV was great. They use a pretty large needle, but it only hurt for a split second. I had no bruising after, which was a surprise. I liked that they thanked me after. I felt like I did a good thing, and I will definitely be donating regularly.

Efficient and friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Recommend you answer the 50 questions before you arrive, which made it smooth. Help those who need blood…donate!

This is the most inefficient blood services that I have ever used. I had a 10:15 minute appointment which I was 10 minutes early, and had to wait 40 minutes for a phlebologist to take me back to the interview room. I showed the phlebologist my fast track questionnaire and she had to go help another person at the information desk leaving me waiting another 10 minutes. When she returned, even though I had already answered the 50 non-sensical questions online that could be condensed into 10 questions, she was about to go over them again with me. Anyway, after an hour of wasted time, I was fed up and left without giving blood.

I’ve been donating at this location for 15+ years and have always had professional and friendly interactions with staff! They really are terrific and don’t get enough credit for making us doners feel comfortable and very much appreciated!

Fairly seamless process checking in if you do the pre-check online before arriving. This place feels a bit crammed when compared to the Phoenix i17 location. Also the snack bar only had Oreos when I was here. However, they have popcorn ☺️

They are fairly nice in there. But I was fairly annoyed with most recent visit. A medication I recently was put on is now potentially unfit for pregnant women. Considering how desperate they are for donations, I don’t see why they cant segregate my blood for non pregnant women, considering blood receives labels like A+ or O-.

I used to come here all the time. The last couple times, I’ve had the same guy start my appointment. The first time, he lectured me about my use of antidepressants (a question they have to ask and I have to answer so they know what’s in my blood) because “life is happy and I should rely on Jesus.” The second time, he lectured me about the Bible, “truly forming a relationship with the Savior,” and living with my fiancé before marriage. You’re in this tiny room with this person interrogating you and most of the questions are legitimate, but this guy saw that I had a cross tattoo and went off on me. He does it with a smile, but it’s wildly inappropriate, especially coming from a medical professional. I talked to others in my family and a couple of them had also had appointments with this guy and had similar experiences. I don’t know if I’ll be back, because I know how important it is to give blood, but it was such an uncomfortable and inappropriate situation. I’m sure the staff knows exactly which staff member I’m talking about because this can’t be the first occurrence. I’d love a response that they’ve taken care of the issue.

While I am impressed with the facility – and have been every time I’ve given blood – I must say that the way I’m treated by some of the staff is like they are very bored, and I had a very early appointment, so it wasn’t late in the day for them. I know that they say what they say many times every day, but not to me. Mumbling or talking so fast that I have to keep asking them what they just asked me so I can answer them gets to be very tiresome! I wasn’t appreciative of the way I was treated; let’s see if it happens again at my next appointment …

This place is great and very clean with super friendly staff. I go every week to donate whatever I’m eligible for. I read some other comments about the facility appearing open when they are suppose to be on break. That only means they are not STARTING any donation processes but still must finish with the people who have been there for an hour donating. So please don’t hate on the nice people that work there, the people inside during that time are spending their lunch hour working while the others get a chance to eat.
