I moved out of area and have asked multiple times to be removed from their call list. They never did, so I just blocked their number and they just keep changing the number they call from. I don’t have anything against your cause but at this point it’s just considered badgering.

Arrived for appointment 10-12 minutes early. Mandy greeted me and was very efficient in getting data needed. Very proficient in needle use. Was a ver quick and efficient process. Would come back if I lived in the area.

I get emails a lot about if I donate between certain dates I get a T-shirt or a hat. Everytime I have scheduled my donation I have never been offered anything for my blood but points. I have asked in the past about promotional items offered via email or txts. I am always told they are out of stock. Maybe the Butte Donation Center just doesn’t receive the promotional items they offer to their donors.

Amelinda, I had a similar experience 10/17/20 at the Butte center. I sure miss Peggy, Yvonne & Elana. In 44 years of donating blood, I have never had such a horrible experience. I am a universal donor, think it’s important & would like to continue donating blood, but now I don’t know where to go to do it.

I have been getting calls to give blood since my blood type is in shortage. I made an appt for Fri 7/19. All the employees that worked with me were pleasant but perhaps inexperienced. Once I was in the chair the experience went downhill. The phlebotomist got the needle in my arm and for 40 minutes moved the needle around claiming she couldn’t get good placement. I have never had problems giving blood before. It was painful but I was close to having a full bag so I let her keep moving the needle. Finally I clotted. I was told they couldn’t do a new stick and my blood couldn’t be used. I was very upset over this and nothing I could do about it. Then I was told good bye. Nothing about getting a beverage or a snack. I felt completely processed. Overall a terrible experience. I primarily came in because my Grandma was just in the hospital and needed a unit of blood. So I decided I should help someone else’s Grandma. I am feeling very uneasy about coming back.
