Amazing place. First time donating and I went with my brother. He was able to donate full pint but I only made 2/3. They were so understanding and kind during the whole process. Very friendly and competent staff. I hope to donate again

Long story short – I think donating is REALLY important, I donated as many times as I could in high school but no matter what I did, I always threw up; not because I’m afraid of needles or blood, just because I was loosing blood so rapidly and my body didn’t know how to respond. Sure it was embarrassing, but more than anything the staff made me feel unappreciated and like they’d rather not take my donation because I was a nuisance. I wanted to get back into donating so I called Vitalant recently and explained my previous situation and the receptionist was very very rude. At the end of the call she asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment and when I said “no”, she laughed like I had wasted her time. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll donate at Vitalant again because I feel like they’d rather not have my donation as to avoid wasting their bags.

This was the first time donating blood. The staff were very professional. I did feel a little light headed shortly into the procedure and the ladies were very attentive and got me feeling right ASAP. I’m very glad to have finally donated and to have Vitalant put my fears to rest!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Constantly asked how everyone was doing, if they needed more snacks, etc. Even while I was waiting my 15 mins in the lobby, when someone had a free minute they came and asked if they could get me more snacks. Great experience. Evan was extra great!

The staff is always really nice and understanding. Personally, I’m afraid of needles but they are good at being understanding and calm when I do this weird twitchy thing when the needle goes in. Also, lots of snacks and free stuff, raffles? What more could you want.

horrible, my 17 year old donated blood and the person who drew her blood told her that a 14.3 A1C was normal. Yall need to send your people back to medical school. That is NOT normal and you should have never taken blood from her and informed me that it was that high. Never again, horrible
