I came to donate whole blood and was asked to consider donating platelets, they had clearly laid out the process and the things I could experience but the nurses were extremely nice and patient with me. I had agreed since I came to just help out with anything they needed 🙂 They had happily answered any questions I had and were so kind to make sure I was feeling okay. It was an extremely comfortable experience and I had no issues, to say the least I am excited to come for my next donation and have even recommended my friends to consider donating platelets.

Very kind staff and an excellent experience. No infiltration, almost no pain on catheterization, and comfortable seating. Thank you for all you do! Stay safe.

The staff was extremely friendly, and Stephanie who drew my blood was very personable! This was my first time donating blood today, since I finally had my hemoglobin at an acceptable level, and the entire staff made it a great experience! I will definitely be back.

Called and scheduled an appointment. Got an email confirmation. Showed up to the location and said they don’t have me on schedule. Had to wait for awhile, once they finally had me in. The nurse was nervous, looks like it was her first time. The needle fell on the floor and she picked it up and still used it. Missed my vein so now they had to use my other arm but now they couldn’t get the system working. Waited almost 2 hours and just had to leave. They were actually glad I was leaving instead of getting the system sorted out.

This place is awesome! I have been donating with Vitalant for years, before when it was Lifesource and I have always loved every experience everytime. The staff at Arlington Heights, IL are the best ever! Always so nice, caring, accommodating and have total compassion and empathy. They’re all great people and they make every donation a breeze and make me wanting to come back to see them :). I love donating platelets even more bc of the staff. If you’re gonna donate anywhere, go here!

I have donated here many times and have not had a bad experience. The nurses are knowledgeable, considerate and most times funny.

First time donating blood. The staff member that handled the process (Paulina) was very competent, professional and friendly. Overall great experience – will be back.

They were rude. No care for the patient. One time I went my arm was bleeding after I left. I had to go back to get the blood to stop leaking.

This is what I got after donating blood at this location. Is this what I signed up for. I donated for social cause, but unfortunately what I get in return is not what I wanted.
