Awful! I set up a large donation. The items being donated were extremely valuable. Some of them never used. outdoor equipment grills, camping grills, fishing gear that was never been used brands like Weber, Loomis, fishing rods, etc. they pitch through my items, took what they wanted and left a huge pile. Obviously not knowing the value. I think they took what they wanted for themselves personally. I called dispatch and told them and they were shocked but never sent anybody back it’s very unfortunate. Somebody really could’ve use these things the closing alone. Suits expensive dress shoes, etc. I am disgusted.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews. We have used them so many times as we have decluttered my parents home recently. We have never had any issues whatsoever. So happy to help someone and not have to load this all up myself and drive it somewhere. I highly recommend them.

condo complex wont let you pile bags and boxes on front patio. Driver was asked to ring apartment bell sonwe could bring items down. We had everything loaded waiting and it was a no show 10 hours waiting no show. Called twice to find out where they were and was told they didn’t know and no way to contact the driver. BS how do they know aboit cancelation ?

Ive been donating to Vietnam veterans for over 10 years and they have been great until 2021. I scheduled a pickup this year(2022) and they never showed up. So now I have all this stuff sitting on my porch. They obviously take donations for granted.

Very horrible experience. The driver was rude and lazy. I had prepared clothing and household items for weeks. Carefully packed next to new clothing and were new!

I had all bags so I didn’t have a problem.. scheduled one for my parents. Had boxes of glasses, dishes, and other breakable items. They threw them on the truck (literally threw them) and left half the stuff saying he didn’t have room. I wasn’t as upset about scheduling another pick up but Not sure what is the point of donating if they are going to break it. Might as well give them to the trash guy.

I scheduled a pickup. Drivers wouldn’t take my donation, stating that the boxes were wet. The website clearly states “rain or shine”. I’ve donated many times, and this wasn’t an issue. I made an attempt to cover my donation, and nothing was soaked. Highly disappointed. Won’t request a pick up again. Will donate to another organization.

Very disappointed with Veterans of America pick up. After my mother passing we had tagged brand new clothing of tops, blouses, pants, sweaters. Bag and bags never worn beautiful outfits. Also womans jackets, shoes, books and hats. After multiple attempts for pickup they finally come to pick up but deny any of my donation bags. Stating mold was on the books. I personally went back outside and checked every bag. There was absolutely no mold for there 2nd attempt to pick up. So we have went elsewhere. Veterans really needs to make sure there drivers are doing there job correctly. Did they not want to take the15 plus bags we had for them? I would have personally helped carry them to the truck. Makes me sad we have been donating to Veterans for years, not anymore!
