Why book appointments at 1 when you close at 1? All you’re doing is locking people out when they are trying to come donate blood. Called and was told to reschedule the appointment I was already there for. Transferred me to scheduling where no one picked up the phone. I guess they don’t want my donation that badly.

I’ve been giving blood for 17 years, & we never had a problem in Saginaw. This is the second time I tried to give blood here in Portage. This is the second time they’ve changed their hours recently changed (see attached picture). We didn’t have an appointment, but we couldn’t even make one. The receptionist was discouteous: she was on her mobile phone when we arrived, gave us very little information, & then disappeared; we left after 15 minutes. We heard one say to the other “there’s not even anyone” waiting, when we clearly were.

The last 2 times I donated blood at versiti have been very painful experiences. The staff acted like they had no idea what they were doing and acting unprofessionaly and causes alot of pain in my arms that resulted in extensive bruising for more than a week. Will not be going back for another donation. The staff was nice enough but the missuse of the needles is inexcusable
