Not particularly friendly place ever. Had one pleasant visit about two months ago. Jared was pleasant. Three out of last four times i I donate it is a cold environment- was not even asked to schedule another donation.this time. Other donation centers (Vitalant) are a little better. Maybe it’s just a depressing business.

Careless and unfriendly staffs. I started whole blood donation a year ago mostly on the bus. I started to go to this Westmont location twice. Both times were very uncomfortable experiences at this location, very unfriendly staffs. This time I took my boyfriend with me and he was super excited for his first time here. We came in the front door no one was there to help out, we heard a voice ( without greetings) instructed us from far back of the big room which we couldn’t understand what she wanted us to do so we guessed put our scan code copies on the table. She started to ‘0rder’ both of us wash hands, show the ID, checking information with super cold tone and attitude , it took long time for both of us to check in and we were standing the whole time. We came to try to help other with our blood donation but we felt so unwelcomed and super uncomfortable. Both the check in lady and the technician in the blood test room had masks on and pulled under their noses while we were there which were very careless for medical staffs and I was in the tiny room seated close to the technician. The technicians were better to compare with the check in lady. We don’t want to go there to experience uncomfortables. We will never be back. Sorry but you are not professional enough to serve your community well. You lost 2 repeating donors at the same time.

felt mistreated here! I have made an appointment since they called for emergency help. I stopped by at1:30pm with appointment. When I arrived, noone greeted me I was simply stood there for a bit till this african american who wearing glasses apporched me with I needed to see your ID. With her unfriendly personality which really made me felt uncomfortable, she replied after she took my ID with tones ,” what’s your address, is this current? I replied yes. She stared at me and made face. My purposed was to help other but this lady did not do her great job and she did not even deserve to have this job. cheering, giving with no discrimination and or racism. I simply just took my ID and walked out, she just smile and laugh.

I wish they would invest in technology. Putting a thermometer under your mask is ridiculous when everywhere else has infrared. Also, why can’t their system keep your travel history & other information & just ask for updates since your last visit? Silly to repeat the same info every few weeks, especially with hard to spell prescriptions, etc.
