I have donated blood at Versiti Blood Centers for years (before they were Heartland). They used to be very professional and honest. Not so anymore. They called me and said if I donate blood I would be entered into a contest drawing, be given a coupon for free Noodles entrée and receive an e-gift card. A month later and I still have not received any gifts. I have contacted them and now they are saying the Noodles coupon is no longer available. The e-gift card is in the mail. Nothing but a scam and false advertising.

The staff is always friendly and very welcoming! My first time donating everything went great! But my 2nd time I started to feel faint and very nauseous and the needle hurt in my arm, they tried to get it over quickly and helped me get rid of the nausea. They are kind and always checked up on me every so often. But they do call alot and when I tried to decline going in to donate again (because i didnt have time) they kept pushing it, im sure its their job but a little less harassment would be nice. Overall they are great people and very friendly. I would 100% recommended coming here.

I went for my first time. I did what they call a double . During it on the return the blood was pushed under the skin but not in my vain. I’m a big boy so I’m not in pain but scary it started bubbling up with blood. Now it’s been over 48 hrs an I still have not received the 10-25$ gift card of my choice an they have my number an email an tell me nothing they got half of the double . But said I would get paid via gift card for whole thing. Yet they never paid me.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley today, as she pre-screened us (my sister and I) upon arrival. She was nothing but professional and made sure we were in compliance with the Covid Procedures at this time. It was the end of day appointments, and was told that they had been EXTREMELY busy all with pre-booked appointments for Whole Blood, Platelets, and Plasma, but didnt make us feel like they were hurrying to get out of there. Ashley drew my blood and I barely felt her poke me. I donate one a season, and she just made my visit just that much more important to me, and I have been donating there since 1984. Such a JOY! I will be looking for her again at my next donation… WAY TO GO ASHLEY!!! <3

My blood donation experience has been generally good, but DO NOT EVER give them your phone number. They call and call and call. I just got three confirming calls in the last 72 hours for my appointment on Sunday. I have complained to them, to no effect, and after the latest I tried to call their offices, but got stuck in an endless hold loop.

Would give them zero stars if possible. They harrass you and it’s disgusting. They don’t care that you are sick. They don’t care that you have asked to be removed from their list multiple times. They’ve seen me faint on their tables, but still claim I’m a good candidate. I’ve told them I cannot donate anymore because I become sick for days afterward and can’t function at my job. My hematologist advises against me donating! And still they harrass me when told all this. Absolutely no compassion for their donors!

I feel like a human pin cushion in both arms. No concern for the health and welfare of the donors. Only care about getting the blood. I have been donating blood for almost 50 years including 47 donations here. Never have I experienced such disrespect for my welfare.

Just made a double red donation. The staff were consciousness and polite. My phlebotomist did a very good job and answered all my questions. This is my second time going here and plan to schedule here again.
