Great experience! Alicia (the manager?) makes this such a fun place. She checks on everyone in the building, whether working or there to donate. She is friendly and kind! Sarah did an AMAZING job. I think she was training with a woman named Dana. They both were friendly and made me less nervous. Another woman with black hair and blue highlights did my “interview” before donating and she was very friendly. We will be back to this location to donate again!

The lady at the reception was extremly nice from the moment we walked in and out but I felt like the energy was not consistant with the rest of the team . There was this lady in particular with greenish scrubs who Is a team leader and I believe her name is Mandy, was doing a donation just recently on my husband, she gave me negative vibes by her tone when she was speaking to him . She was not nice nor friendly or pleasent . My husband felt like he was being discriminated and so did I based on how she was speaking to him and treating him . I happened to be there when she treated another donor of a different race and treated him fairly well in fact she was even complimenting him, keeping up conversations and her tone was way better compared to when she was with my husband . This place felt welcoming at first but at last it was definitly a turnaround , for this reason we wont be coming back .

Very welcoming and nice staff until the person that came with me was unable to finish donating. They became very rude and frustrated because of this. Really did not appreciate my donation and the person with me trying to donate. Will think twice before returning to this location.

I attempted to donate double red on Sat May 15, 2020, during COVID. I am O+, the universal donor. After Dana had me strapped in, vein found, arm swabbed and ready to go, and after she had told me to not move my arm while she set up apparatus, another phleb (Avery?) came by while talking over her shoulder to someone and pulled open a drawer. The drawer hit my arm. I told her this on spot: Dana told Avery in kidding way that if she missed the vein it would now be Avery’s fault; Dana then went to work. Bottom line: Dana missed the vein. After getting small amount from me, and being unable to fix things, they had to abandon the draw. No apology from Avery; only perfunctory one from Dana, along with “these things happen”; no acknowledgment that opportunity to get double red from O+ during COVID had been wasted. I got an ice pack for my swollen and sore arm, with an assurance that someone would call me in a few days to inquire how I was doing. Unfortunately, no one has called me, which is why I’m writing this review. No one spoke to me during the 15 minute wait after draw had been abandoned, except Avery, who yelled from front desk, “You doing ok, Neil?” I didn’t answer, and she said nothing more. Now I have bruised arm and I’m not eligible to donate for 8 weeks. Complete waste. Some sensitivity training during a mistake would be helpful. Mistakes happen, but what you do about them is important.

I have been donating whole blood at this location for a few years now. Staff is always in high spirits and great energy. Recently started donating platelets, they always make sure I am comfortable. Go donate!

very unpleasant lady at the reception. Very unhelpful. The center discriminates against people who speak little English, except Hispanics. And blood does not need tongues, blood gives life. It’s better to avoid these locations
