Apparently they don’t need platelets as much as they say. My first donation was canceled last minute for “staffing issues”. I was informed that it was canceled via one measly text message at 4:53 PM the day before my appointment (that I had been scheduled for for almost a month and required me to request off work for no reason now). No call, no voicemail, no email, just a text. Interesting though because I received an email reminding me of my appointment originally scheduled literally not even a whole hour after that at 5:31 PM. Very confusing and had to double check that it was actually cancelled. This place is barely open anyway. If you can’t keep a place staffed for just 5 days a week at 8 hours a day then something’s wrong and is a major red flag. Will be looking into other donation centers.

I had a very similar experience to D N. I went through the screening process in November 2022 and had my first donation scheduled for January 6th, 2023. I received a phone call 3 hours before my scheduled donation telling me they were experiencing a “staffing glitch” and needed to reschedule me which we did for January 20th, 2023. I received an email on January 11th, 2023 that they were “pausing operations” and not completing pre-screen visits or platelet donations at this time. It seems like something is going on and they’ve closed down. Not sure what is happening other than my time being wasted.

Great first visit, but when it was time to donate,at the scheduled time, a month in advance almost, nobody was there. I heard they are not in business anymore. Drove almost 1 hour one way, at least someone should have emailed, called to tell me that something happened. Still wanting to donate blood(free, no financial compensation) and I find it very difficult to find a place close to do it. I am opened for suggestions!

I drove 25 minutes for my screening appointment to find that the building was locked and no one was there. I called the number provided and sat on hold while waiting outside for over 20 minutes before finally giving up. Wish I had read the reviews before wasting time and gas

Imagine my surprise when I arrived to find the doors locked, the phone system disabled, and other people in the parking lot who were also just discovering that the place had shut down. Even the UPS guy trying to deliver a package was taken by surprise.

They are not welcoming at all, super rude and gave us the cold shoulder upon first meet. It felt super awkward. What was said over the phone didn’t match up with what the woman behind the desk was saying. You can’t even get your blood drawn the first time you come in, you have to make an appointment to get your blood tested and then schedule an additional appointment after that for the actual donation. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.

They are super nice and I highly recommend! They pay more than what they say over the phone! It’s $100 per donation, even if your donation is cut off early from the veins being too small! They have a good movie setup too!
