The bus came to Birkdale in Huntersville, NC. Made an appointment for 2pm & was told to wait in the car for a call when it’s time to go into the bus. I waited until 2:27pm before I walked back to the outdoor table to see two other women going in before me who had later appointments. The lady said, “I was just about to call you!” So I ask how long the process was because I may have to leave to get my child off the bus & didn’t expect to be let in so late AFTER my appointment time. She stated about 30 minutes. I figured I could wait & be out in time. There was only one person checking people in on the bus & one drawing blood (and he was complaining) so I knew it’d be a mess. At 3pm I wasn’t even in the little room to be checked in & had to leave to get my child. This was definitely a waste of an hour & I really wanted to donate! Please do better with staffing & time management, we don’t get anything for wasted time. They were stopping people coming in at 3pm so I couldn’t even come back like I wanted to.

Worst place to ever work for. They treat their employees like trash and the new manager that just started like 2 months ago is getting away with things that a manager shouldn’t do. And they want to fire people for breaks. Really that’s ridiculous. And oh if you do something wrong they won’t tell you about it so you can fix it they will just let you go.

They won’t hire anyone without a 7 year cleared background check…even if you disclose. It’s not even up for discussion. H.R. department is completely unresponsive… I probably won’t donate blood ever again to this place since they don’t believe in humanity 🙂

I work as a licensed insurance agent with Matt Byars Allstate agency. We had a community wellness, preparedness and awareness event, and without hesitation they were willing to participate. We were thrilled to have them, and they were such a vital part to the success of our event too. It was a great place to work for, I’m not disgruntled but management and up needs to really restructure on keeping employees its an ever revolving door with no life work balance and there is nobody to serve as a liaison to management about any complaints or how to improve turnover and Lord help you if you have a complaint it will not be heard, the just assume to replace you with another clueless person just my constructive opinion

Difficult to rate them a 2-star because what they do for the community is awesome and they do have some really great employees but there are some things you just can’t overlook. To the person who said something about drug testing their employees and the other person who’s review mentioned HR being non responsive… both 100% true PLUS SOME.
