What a happy place! Thanks to Charles for phenomenal donor support. My phlebotomist Craigtisha calmed by nervous mood at the beginning of my donation, and Charity was a swift screener. I given blood a lot of times, but this time was different. BTW – great snacks. Bravo Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center!

I’ve been going here for years, donate several times a month, and I’ll continue to go here. The staff here are incredible! Every time I go, it’s as if I’m hanging out with friends but also happen to be giving blood. Huge shout out to Richard for scheduling my appointments, Rozy for getting me through intake, Mary and Jennifer for always making the donation a laugh session, and Charles who runs a great team. Y’all are the best

I wasn’t able to spend Mother’s Day with my mom since she’s out of my area, but given blood donation is super important to her I decided what better way to celebrate Mother’s Day (and help save lives!) by donating platelets? 🙂 This was my first time doing so but the staff at the Blood Center Katy were super friendly and made the whole experience as comfortable as possible! Charles was my Donor Support Associate and helped me get setup right away. Mary was my Screener and she was wonderful by answering all my questions before the procedure started. Daniel was my assigned Phlebotomist and he was so nice explaining each step as he setup and continuously checked on me during my hour and a half stay. Miss Jennifer also checked in on me, was great company, gave me a blanket when I needed one and helped get me check out at the end. I’m so grateful to the staff for making this a seamless experience (since I was kinda nervous) and a memorable Mother’s Day! I plan on returning here again to donate soon!

My boyfriend and I went over the weekend and successfully donated under the care of Elissa, Charity, Amanda and Charles. This location is the place I made my first donation to 17 years ago before undergoing a surgery, and there’s a reason I keep coming back. Everyone here is knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. Durring the screening process I was welcomed by Amanda, who remembered me after probably about 4-5 years, as she was always the one who could stick my tiny veins. The techs did an amazing job with me, as I need assistance with the flow sometimes, and my boyfriend. Charles went above and beyond with fresh baked cookies on the hour. Thank you all for what you do.

I love this place the people are so nice. When you walk in and see all the smiling faces Charles is just a dear checking you in and Charity doing my screening love the personal because I know she just had a baby and back treating patients already. I contacted the blood center & Charles walked me thru the process & patient with all my questions & concerns. Answered every detail & made for a smooth situation l. Charity was patient with the not so patient “patient” and Scarlett did an amazing job with the not so patient “patient”. Actually the entire staff could not have been more involved, inviting & made you feel very comfortable. Best of the best IMO!

Went with my husband to do a direct donation for a relative. Our first time giving blood. Everyone was very kind and friendly. Kenneth greeted us warmly, made sure we both got in together, and made us feel very nappreciated. Mary did a good job hooking me up and was very perceptive to me. She did what she could to make it a better experience for me. All the staff were checking on us regularly and made sure we were good. We would definitely go back.

This location is our favorite. Everyone is always so nice and they welcome us with happy smiles. My husband is a twice cancer survivor, he has been coming to this location for over a year. I can’t donate but they always thank me for supporting the cause in other ways. They make both of you feel like we really make a big difference. Scarlett was my phlebotomist and she was amazing! She is skilled, knowledgeable, and even laughed at my dad jokes! The donor advocate, Charles, made me feel right at home. He even baked me cookies at the end of the day, right before they were closing, in 12 minutes! Those cookies were delicious homemade treats. I can’t wait to come back for my next donation. I felt like I was part of their family and it was super quick and easy! Saving lives should always be this amazing!
