The front desk staff, medical and managers are outstanding. Very caring, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to help. They are thorough in explaining the process of donating plasma.

The way this place books appointment is not efficient at all! It is clear they do not value our time as donors!

I used to donate frequently at a facility in a different city. Night and day compared to trying to get set up to do a first donation here. There, I could walk in any time and be done within an hour. Here, I didn’t even get called back for screening until almost 4 hours after my scheduled appointment time. Only to be sent home because I’m participating in a *completely non invasive* research study. I offered to provide all of the study’s documentation, which I have saved to my cloud, but they wouldn’t accept it if it wasn’t printed out. (Y’all don’t have printers???) NO indication online that this would be an issue either, in order to prepare the documents in advance. Got told that I would have to start the whole process over again when I got the paperwork. However, I will not be coming back. Literally who has the time? I already wasted basically one whole day, which is like a week in grad student time

It’s been a horrible week. Both Wednesday and today, Friday, it’s been 3 plus hours of my time, despite me having an appointment. Not enough staff, way too many donors. The latest reviews all seem to be the same. Staff are nice but are way overworked. You need our plasma. We need money. Please compensate us for our time or raise what we receive. No bonuses, just this stamp thing where winning is unlikely. Think I’m gonna take a break because I have given 6 plus hours of my time for 110 dollars.

I originally wasn’t going to leave a review on Google but the feedback form on their website wouldn’t let me submit my complaint. This place is terrible. If you call in the staff will tell you to just come by and you can do a walk-in. This is frequently not true. If you make an appointment you can expect it to be at least 30 minutes late unless you’ve taken the earliest possible slot. The staff are overbooked and not being treated well because it comes out in how they’ll treat you while you’re there. Their boss has the sales pitch they want the employees to give if they answer the phone and that is recorded so they will say it. That’s why people get told they can do a walk-in. When they get there though and your appointment is late or there is no walk-in available the staff have no patience to be polite to you. That’s probably because they aren’t allowed to say what the actual problems are. If they can’t give you any real answers they need you to just go away so they can try to put out the fires their bosses caused. I don’t KNOW any of that, but I’ve been treated that way by enough bosses to suspect it when I see the symptoms. They clearly make their money off the financially desperate because anyone that respects their time and has some income will have no desire to interact with this place.

Donated 3 times and something has gone wrong every time. First time reception took down different info than I gave and I was waiting over an hour for nothing and had to start over. Second time at the end of the donation the needle was left in my arm for over 10 minutes and one of the techs turned off my machine and didn’t disconnect me and went to another machine and immediately disconnected someone else. Third time the machine malfunctioned. Every time expect to be waiting for at least an hour even with an appointment. You’re not gonna be in the chair for at least 90 minutes, and then you have at least another half hour of waiting after that. I can tell the staff is expected to do a million things at once and are doing their best but things are so disorganized and they seem very overworked. Like there are way too many appointment slots available for the amount of work they’re actually able to do. The distribution of workers is also really uneven. A lot of the staff will kind of congregate and focus on one half of the donor room, and the other half just waits to be connected and start the appointment. I get the demand is high but it overall feels disrespectful to donors’ time.

Third time Ive gone in second time with an appointment rejected all 3 times. I’m a very understanding person I understand that they are short staffed. But what I don’t understand is scheduling appointments and then when you realize you’re not able to accommodate them you don’t give the person a heads up until they get over there. Two appointments I’ve gone down there only to be rejected does the phone’s not work? Not very professional. Didn’t even offer to reschedule.

They are short staffed. Show up at 9 AM and you won’t leave till around 2pm. Ridiculous wait times. Doesn’t matter what time you show up. Expect to be waiting 3 hours just to be screened, and then another hour in the back waiting to start your donation. Seems like they should stop scheduling so many appointments if they know they can’t keep up with them.

I was told my first appointment would take 2-3 hours as I was scheduling it. I showed up for my my appointment the next day and after waiting for 2 hours I was called back and told it would take another 4 hours! It’s nowhere near as fast as they want you to believe.
