So this place is not great, I have only had 1 smooth experience and I’ve been 5 times now. First day we sat for 3 hours then we’re guilt tripped into leaving, and told the next day would be smooth and speedy. It WAS NOT. Took another 4 hours then was told my veins weren’t good enough. The next time I came it took another 3 hours and then I was finally able to donate. Then because they are not great at giving all the info you need and that apparently you are assigned days to donate I went today and told I can’t come back til tomorrow. Wondering if I should even waste my time. Just not a pleasant experience. Some of the staff is great some not so much. Just unsure if it’s worth the time.

Can’t say enough good things about this center. Friendly staff, and the money really helps to provide for me. The best part is helping save lives, and Sara really puts a smile on my face.

Waited well over an hour just to be told that my asthma is too severe, and “just to play it safe” I need to have my primary care physician sign off that my asthma is only treated prophylacticly for me to donate. How exactly does asthma affect the donation process? I take an inhaler MAYBE twice a day, this shouldn’t be such a hoop jumping experience. I will not be returning to this location.

The staff are very friendly and informative. The only reason for 2 stars is that the chairs they sit you in have little to no padding. So have fun trying to donate with a bar in your back. Especially if you have a bad one.

I came here hoping to donate as a first time donor. The time for your first time is estimated at 2-4 hours. I sat there for about 2 before they asked me any questions. After they asked me about my tattoos and piercings they sat me back down for about another 2 hours. At the FOUR and a HALF hour mark they called me back and told me i could not donate because i couldn’t remember where I got one of my piercings A YEAR AGO even though when they originally asked they said it was fine if i didn’t remember. so they rejected me for donation at that time. Basically, they made me sit for 2.5 extra hours KNOWING they were not going to allow me to donate. Along with all of this, the front office staff was very unprofessional and slow. they were behind the counter laughing at things on a phone, standing around talking in a group while there were MANY people waiting to continue with their next step. I came with a friend who was able to donate but it took FIVE and a HALF hours before she was even sat down to begin her donation. Then they told her “we might be out of payment cards” in which case they wouldn’t be able to allow her to donate and would send her on her way too. I felt slightly led on here, felt like the staff took this as a joke and felt as though i was sitting around waiting for NOTHING when they were all already aware that they were not going to allow me to donate. I will most likely be going somewhere else if I decide to try to donate my plasma again.
