I came from Colorado and I tell u this the staff here is very friendly and get to u as quick as the can. I have 756 donations. Only about 10 here in Harrisburg and I would put any and all of these stickers up against any in Colorado. And that’s the honest to gods truth. Trust me I’ve been donating for years.

my husband donates there and i used to. very unprofessional and lazy staff. last time i donated it took two and a half hours. only 40 minutes on the machine itself, rest of the time was waiting for staff to hook up the machine, and stick me. i got told to put away my phone while other people were talking on theirs or listening to music very loud. nobody answers the phone…ever. they need a staff recycle..because who they have now are rude and indifferent unless you are their friend or relative!

Most of the staff is friendly they’ll try to work with you. Just make sure you have your ID the first time and you’re good. When you get to the back they ask if you’re ok after being stuck. Overall a good experience better than last time years ago I was there.

This place is VERY unorganized & inconvenient. My first time going I spent like 6 (after being turned away 1st couple of times to start the process of even becoming a donor) 2hours of opening and 2hrs before closing no one can donate unless they’ve made an appointment prior and the professionalism is lacking detrimentally. If you have a job mind as well go to another site because it’s not job friendly when It comes to convenient donating.

It’s by appointment only( which is hard to schedule by phone because nobody picks up) and even so you still wait an excessive amount of time to be screened and seated even if you show up on time. Sometimes depending on the day and time you go in you can be in and out within an hour and a half total time spent there. Other days if its busy, appointment or not you’re gonna be waiting at least 30 minutes to be screened. Then another 15-30minute wait to be seated to donate. Then another 5-20minutes waiting to be hooked into to the plasma machine. So overall nice place to get easy cash but your gonna spend time earning it.

I used to go here during 2009 and 2010 and all the staff was great. They’re probably gone by now. The donors can be crazy, rude, loud, instigating and just plain troublemakers.

Staff is loud and obnoxious, I try my best to ignore everything but my last visit I came in 1 1/2 hours before closing time. One employee. who was sticking donors yells out that I need to come in at 2 not 530, after I was seated the same black male employee that he will not stick me because he simply can’t get it right. After 15 minutes of being ignored one staff noticed scar tissue and clots in my arm. The spot where they stick me, caused by the staff member mentioned earlier who refused me. Earlier. Meanwhile thee was 3 other female employees taking about having a party after work

My experience was very terrible, I had set a appointment to go to the plasma center, Thursday December 2 2022, I would have been a new donor, I haven’t came to the plasma center for 3 years, I drink a gallon or more of water everyday & eat very healthy, I get to the plasma center at 3pm for my appointment….I get checked in as a new donor, they tell me to go to the back, 2 people were looking to try to find my vein, but they said they couldn’t find it, mind you they said I had to leave , they told me to come back tomorrow , this Caucasian guy with a light blue jacket said I could come back tomorrow , I show up today friday December 2, I showed up today on Friday and I got checked in and all that, I go back once again and they try to find my veins again and this was the Caucasian white guy that said maybe I’m not the right candidate and he should never said that cuz I find that very disrespectful, then this lady try to find the vein again and she said well the plasma center there were very picky of our candidates and like I said I haven’t been to plasma enter for 3 years but before there’s many people that can find my veins but like you never tell somebody like they’re not the right candidate or they’re not the right fit you never say that to them at the plasma center, I felt very disrespectful and I didn’t like the way the two employees treated me there especially the guy with the blue coat on and I don’t know if he’s the manager or something but I feel very disrespectful because I came there and took time to donate out my day to help someonepeople to get my plasma like I took my time out my day to come there, like I will never go back there ever again I had a terrible experience and this is the one location in Harrisburg uptown plaza center like I work and everything like I took time at my day to come there to be twice Thursday and today because they couldn’t find my veins and I drunk plenty of water so, I believe in a workplace I believe it should be professional and the way the two people were they very they weren’t very un professional toward me and I felt like I was being attacked

I had called and actually made appointments for our first time visit. We weren’t doing this for money but trying to help others. Unfortunately after an hour and a half hour and still hadn’t been seen by anyone or acknowledged, we left. The front desk staff, was pretty much invisible. Not friendly at all. I get it they can get tired or possibly over worked but at least try to be civil. There did seem like a few friendly staffers in the back. Regardless if people were there for the money or for a friend in need, they are still human. I truly think the Corporation needs to go in and adjust the staff. Get the people out that seems to hate their jobs, (seemed like quite a few people up front did). I will not be recommending this facilities.
