The place is nice, and the people are friendly for the most part. But I came in for my first donation after the physical and they asked me to wait because my blood test results weren’t back. After 20 minutes or so, they said I could come back another day and they’d compensate me for the trip down there.

Went to donate blood here and the desk staff were so sweet. The nurses on the other hand were very standoffish and rude when I mentioned carrying sickle cell disease. Not that I had it but that I carry it.

I always feel comfortable coming in to donate at NuPlasma. Snacks and drinks are on point, the staff is friendly and courteous, and the rewards are well worth it. There are some policies that don’t make sense but they sound like government regulation and not Nuplasma’s choice. Would recommend for anyone who is eligible and wants some extra spending cash.

The office space is very modern/contemporary! It’s a very clean & spacious place. The process is very easy and the workers there are so nice. All staff was extremely helpful & assisted me without any problems. The donation room is huge! Nice, big, comfy recliners are waiting for all along with nice music. I was only there for pre qualification but when I come back to do my first donation, I’ll be able to watch Netflix on the tablet during the process! Tamika, the phlebotomist, was extremely gentle. I didn’t feel the needle AT ALL. I definitely would recommend this place.

Worked for this company and I was treated with such disrespect, including belittlement, spoken to as if I did not matter as a employee or as a human. I was told to get in the corner and practice until I was told otherwise. There was no compassion to any employee unless it was a favorite. I have never been treated so badly at any company. We also did labor that was not within my scope of practice I was let go by email a day before major surgery that I had to have per my doctor because I could barely walk. Does this sound like management that cares? I am now happy with my new company that cares about my well being and rewards my good work.

The first review does nothing except marginalize the true experience of NuPlasma. Just because a donation center offers rewards (Might I mention that it’s $100 Amazon G.C., or $100 towards your tuition reimbursement, PER VISIT) does NOT mean the individual who supplies plasma should reap CASH benefits. How preposterous do you have to be in order to categorize a donation center of this caliber towards 1 star? Allow me to demonstrate to you what NuPlasma actually has to offer.

Called asking if they were taking new doners. I was told I could be put on a waiting list. When I informed the woman I was not between 18/25 years old “I’m older” she said due to medical emergencies the fda has put a restriction and I would not be considered to be placed on the waiting list. I guess since I’m not a college student at Texas State University and since I couldn’t get tuition reimbursement I’m not a good candidate.

Walked in and was immediately helped by the lady at the front desk. They had all samples and screening questions done within 45 min and i walked out with a 25 dollar gift card in my email as well as free snacks. Whoever rates this under 5 stars clearly hasn’t been to BPL lol
