Me and my husband decided to start donating blood about six months ago to do our part to help the blood banks. We’ve been coming to this location regularly and the staff here are so nice and accommodating! They do their best to be comforting and reassuring since donating blood can be a little scary. You can experience dizziness and other unpleasant side effects but the ladies here are so nice! This last time we went I got to talk with Sabrina about restaurants around town and food delivery. Great conversation and she was a pleasure to talk with! This is our preferred location to donate at. We’ll be coming back every 8 weeks on the dot!

I had the best experience today at STBT at Shavano. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease and welcome. I saw a coworker smiling at her coworkers and diligently working. Everyone seemed to be happy to be there. The young lady taking my vitals was so personable and encouraging. When my blood was being drawn. I felt like I was at a spa with all the attention and the customer service was on point. I have donated blood all my life and have never felt like I didn’t want to leave. I am coming back in 3 months!

Disappointed. I set aside enough time for a platelet donation today (platelets take awhile) and made my appointment. When I went in they just drew whole blood and said I was done. Wish someone had confirmed that I was there for platelets which is what they supposedly need the most and thus what I frequently donate, but no one asked. Oh well.

I am a frequent donor and new to the area. I was looking for a new donation station and after reading some reviews, I decided to give this location a try. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff! My husband and I were in and out in about and hour.

I just want to say how IMMACULATE my experience was! I don’t usually do reviews but the girl Sabrina that helped me was super helpful. I’m super afraid of needles, but man did this girl make me feel comfortable throughout the whole process! She’s an Angel!! She was extremely kind and answered any questions I had! I’m not sure if it was my lucky day or what but I didn’t feel a thing! Definitely will be going back to Donate!

This is a blood donor place where hero’s go. Not enough people give blood so supply is always short. This is not where addicts and homeless go to make money so the equipment is clean and safe. The employees are friendly and do a good job with minimum pain, one quick poke. You can donate every two months, please be a hero. I’ve given over 2 gallons as a regular donor.

Perfect place to donate! I was taken care of as soon as I walked in. Extremely Friendly and hilarious staff! They had me distracted from the needle my whole donation. I’m glad they were around and talkative. I will forever stick to this location and recommend 110%
