I donated yesterday at the Johnson City, TN location. Everything was great until my IV infiltrated. At 1st my arm felt like pins and needles so I asked for help and they proped my arm on a pillow which made it worse. Within a few minutes my arm was numb and heavy. I asked for help again and they came back and removed my IVS and said it must have had a leak. I’m sitting there terrified and in pain and the lady expected me to get up and leave. I told her I had to sit because there was no way I could drive. At this point you think she would have expressed some form of concren. Well she did have another woman get me an ice pack which only made it worse. I drove home with one arm. My arm is STILL killing me. It’s swollen and I can’t lift it. They said they would put an note to call and check on me today and no one did. I may have gotten 300$ but 4 hours in a chair and now over 24 hours of pain this was not worth my time. I won’t ever donate again, this has been a HORRIBLE experience.
