I came in to one blood on a Sunday morning because it is easier for me to get there on my only day off during the week the receptionist was very nice and then I was led into the hole.. A gentleman by the name of Donald was my triage nurse very rude and did not know what he was doing. He spent 20 minutes trying to figure out my prescription and then promptly told me that because a Box was not checked that he could not draw my blood and had to charge me $50. Very disappointed the gentleman continued on and gave me a lecture about how my doctor should write his prescription And refused to draw my blood because of the prescription . This will be my last visit at 1 blood .and I highly encourage one blood to vet their employees better.

Although I’ve been a blood donor for over thirty years, and was an aph donor also for many years, this was my first time at the Stuart, FL location. The people here were terrific! D.J. and Michelle checked me in- and were fun from the beginning! They weren’t scared when I told them I was allergic to adhesive. Patrice, the LPN helped create a great extra pillow for my back. I’ll be back here for many more donations!

My first donation at this center was on 5/25/2012. Stopped in to make a whole blood donation since I happened to be in the area. Was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. May have donated one other time after that but then reverted back to the Big Red buses at our Field Stations or local drives. 2015 delivered a life altering event that lead me back to the Center on 7/28/2015. The support from the staff was truly amazing and showed that not only were they there just doing their job, but honestly showed care and concern for the donors. Total visit to this center as of today would be 73. Hit 24 gallons yesterday. Thank you Michelle, Denise, Maricel, Patrice, and the newbie D.J. You guys are awesomeness!!!!! See ya’s soon!

Excellent, dedicated, professional, gentle staff, state of the art technology, comfortable, relaxing environment, spotless clean, and a good deed that saves lives. One Blood has many gift incentives, and blood mobiles out in the community to make donating blood convenient. New app and reminder calls get the word out of the need for donors, because there’s never a shortage of patients.
