My first time at this Venice ONEBLOOD location. Lucas + Natalie took great care of me. They celebrated Lucas for their one year anniversary. Very cool. If you can donate blood I highly recommend the ONEBLOOD organization. The way they treat me and the swag they give you is fantastic. No pics of the blood donation. 8-19-23 my second platelet donation in Venice, once again Lucas and Layla were attentive, caring and friendly. Please donate if you can. If you have tiny issues they will help the tentative donor. I was one of those people Yeats ago and still, but they make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend

Went to give blood , my wife and I first of all they do not have a supply of medium shirts had to settle for shirts that don’t fit. Next they need to hire more experienced people cause my arm was killing me after the blood draw. I will probably not be donating any more blood because of my experience.we have been donating for years

This was my first time donating blood, and overall it was a great experience. Nathalie performed both my mini-physical and phlebotomy and was very helpful with answering all my questions.

I can not understand why the staff is so rude. I listened to patient as one of the staff members treatment to donor was so bad and the staff member was slamming doors. Every excuse was made to not draw his blood. Could be the way he looks, but that should not matter. Very upset. I understand protocols , but when given a script to donate that ” overcedes “the donation for the patients own health and safety. That is why script is given.

I called OneBlood and made an appointment for August 8th 2020 to donate blood. On August 7th, the night before I got a phone call confirming my appointment for the next day which I confirmed. I drove from North Port to Venice for the appointment and find that masks or mandatory to be worn in order to give and donate blood. I told the phlebotomist that I cannot wear a mask I’m medically exempt. Nobody mention to me on August 7th during the confirmation phone call or when I made the appointment the week before. They wouldn’t allow me to donate blood. According to the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), a business cannot refuse service to someone for not wearing a mask especially if they’re medically exempt and are supposed to make reasonable accommodations to those who fall in that category. They did not . I was told the supervisor made the rules and they could not deviate from them . They violated the law and could be liable for a pretty substantial Federal fine. This is why I am giving a one-star to OneBlood. Although I’ve been donating blood at every opportunity when I’m allowed to oh, I will never do it again and that is the reason why. I’ve contacted my attorneys.

The experience was rather good. The only drawback is trying to reach the office. Two dropped calls after waiting 8-9 minutes each time. Very unprofessional.

I would give less than a 1 star if I could. Staff was disrespectful and really rude worst customer service I ever had. Staff member Michelle should start looking for a new profession. Definitely go to suncoast in venice fl where the staff care about you and treats you well

Staff needs a refresher on aseptic technique. Actually picked something up off the floor, then palpated my scrubbed arm with their contaminated gloves. I had to stop her. I have a strong immune system, but not everybody does.
