I had an appointment at 8 this morning. Theoretically the first appointment. Sat I the car to wait until they unlock the door. Someone else ran up and pulled on the door. They unlocked it right away and processed her. So i sat while both of them fiddled with the computer. I left at 825. Won’t go back there. Maybe the red bus is a better option.

Joyce and Lisa run a fine clinic for blood donations. I have been going to this location in Norh Port since August of 2021 and have always been treated kindly, tenderly, and with compassion. And they are fun and know what they are doing. We all are helping fight a good cause to donate blood or platelets. 7/8/22. Beth filling in for Joyce with Lisa today. As always these fine Ladies treat us platelet and whole blood donors like royalty. Beth’s Pandora selection was fabulous and I sang to the majority of the songs. Love ❤ the music. I got some cool swag. The pick will show. My American Red Cross records have merged with my One Blood records and it shows I have donated over 7 gallons. . 11-4-22. Vacation, COVID, and a cancelation and just like that 4 months have passed. Joyce moved to Georgia, so Josh and Lisa now run the ONEBLOOD in North Port. They treat us donors so well. I highly recommend donating if you can.

We are happy to come and regularly give blood here. Our only suggestion is to try to be more on-time for donors like us who schedule an appointment in advance. Today our appointments were both at 11am but my husbands blood didn’t even start going into the bag until after 12:00. The two ladies who work with patients are friendly and kind. The facility seems clean. Snacks and drinks are a nice treat after having your life sucked out of you! Haha!

I’m a regular platelet donor at One Blood in North Port. I make appoints online and rarely have to wait long. Lisa and Joyce are wonderful to work with. Recently, Beth has been there when I donate. I am anxiously awaiting for her o complete her platelet training. She will also make a great addition to this center. These employees are professional and yet very friendly. A great place to donate.

Lisa and Joyce are the best at what they do! If you are “afraid of needles”, I highly recommend this branch, most times I don’t feel a thing! Trust me, I go there 20+ times/year. They always make you feel welcome and appreciated and are happy to have a conversation as they work.

My boyfriend and I came to North Port to donate blood, and it was a very memorable experience. We didn’t have an appointment, but they were welcoming to walk ins. Ada and Joyce made us feel comfortable by acknowledging us, and assisting our needs. They were so kind and made us laugh in a time of nervousness. Once you donate with One Blood you can set up your email and all your personal information is there including your blood type. One Blood has a great reward program, and they can set up future appointments for you as well. It was the most least stressful appointment We have ever been through, and we will definitely be returning in the future! 🙂

I’m trying to become a regular platelet donor, and OneBlood North Port is making it easy. Appointments are easily made online, which eliminates much of the waiting I experienced with walk-in blood drives up north. The facility is small, but clean and comfortable; the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to frequent visits.

I started donating platelets several yrs ago when my son (Noah) was diagnosed w/ Hodgkins Lymphoma & needed to have platelets quite frequently. Therefore, it’s just my way of giving back to help save lives. Lisa & Joyce (the phlebotomist) are so kind & accommodating when I go in to donate platelets. I’m a difficult person to find a vein to stick, but most of the time they accomplish the goal…I feel blessed to have found them !

First of all I want to give a big shout out to Teresa. I have small veins and I usually have to be poked a bunch of times and I wind up bruised. She got it on the 1st try. I will definitely be going back to her next time. The facility is very clean. I feel like everything ran smoothly. I didn’t have to sit there forever. Overall, I was very pleased with this facility. If you are ready to donate go see them!! Especially Teresa.
