Walked in the staff was standing around. Asked if I was ready to donate blood. When I told them I was therapeutic donation. They got silent. A different lady came up and said they can’t do a therapeutics without a appointment. I was working out of town and I told them that wouldn’t help me .. of coarse we are rebuilding ft Myers after the hurricane. I’ve been to several one bloods across Florida. And I’ve never heard this once. I could understand if they were busy with people or appointments. But there was four people standing around and talking. The parking lot had two cars in it. I wouldn’t have left work and drove across town if this wasn’t important. So now I’m off to a hospital or somewhere .. the absolute worst place ever. I could find nothing on any signs or the website that states a appointment is needed. I have a prescription to donate blood. This place and people are absolutely horrible no consideration for the people who travel to rebuild the place for them.

This place always helps make my experience better. Donating blood if you are eligible is simply the right thing to do, and I’m eligible, but it’s an exceptionally uncomfortable experience (for me). This location helps make sure I don’t pass out no matter how dizzy I get. This is also a very clean facility, very professional, and personable.

Today I had donated blood once again at one of their Big Red Bus sites; today’s appt was at Herc. Just wanted to say thank you so much to team lead Raj and my phlebotomist Kaytrine! The very best experience I’ve ever had! Raj welcomed me with a smile and answered questions I had regarding possibly donating platelets. He was very helpful and drew an extra sample so they can qualify me. I’ve been contacted as a good candidate for my type of blood and he was just wonderful to talk with! Kaytrine was the same and enjoyed our conversation very much! Very efficient and I was in and out in only about 40 minutes. Thanks again for all you do for us and the community!!!

The absolute WORST EXPERIENCE!! I really would rate a negative if the option was available. Aside from everyone being rude the minute you walked in, the attitudes of the employees were horrendous… not helpful in any way if you’re going for therapeutic blood work. One employee even stated that my husband would be her last patient because she said she was sick for a week (just what you want to hear ). In addition they ask questions that have nothing to do with why you’re there and g*d forbid you hit the ‘help’ button on the tablet, they get all upset that the process had to start from the beginning and ‘they’ had to ask the questions.

I went to this location because it’s conveniently located. The staff is AMAZING! They got me in very quickly, walked me through the process. They told me step by step what was going to be happening. Mike did a great job at making me feel comfortable, which is hard to do before getting poked in the arm. The staff is friendly, you can tell they get along like family, awesome atmosphere!

The blonde phlebotomist named Caitlyn was spectacular! It was my first time getting blood drawn and I was pretty nervous. She was patient yet efficient, and made me feel calm and comfortable throughout the entire process. Barely felt any pain! Left with a smile on my face- thanks again!

I saw the mobile bus was scheduled from noon to 5pm at Lowes on Dani drive today. Stopped in to donate around 3:40, but did not make an appointment. I was told that they were by appointment and were full of appointments today so they could not get me in.
