Had a 7 AM appointment. I was able to get checked in and through everything as they are through to check all boxes, T’s, and dot the I’s. George took care me, very personable-seemed to know everyone. Made sure you were comfortable. I’ve had some nightmare experiences, this was painless. Was extremely happy with bedside manner. Really enjoy donating to OneBlood when I’m on vacation. Its quick, easy, and there are some awesome incentives to donating unlike back home. Look forward to donating next time I’m in the sunshine state.

After much difficulty trying to secure an appointment at the center, I decided to try the “Big Red Bus” for the first time. Made an appointment for the bus one week ahead of time. On time for my appointment (12:15pm 3/28/21), I was told to wait outside the bus, in the hot sun mind you, with someone else who was waiting. He was eventually called into the bus at 12:30, his appointment was at 12pm. About 12:35 someone walked into the bus and didn’t come back out. At 12:40 I walked back in an he was already being processed ahead of me, when his appointment was after me. I was told to go back out in the hot sun and wait again. At 12:50, I went home. Absolutely incompetent poorly untrained workers. One blood is the worst. My last several blood draws at the center were also poorly handled. The same problem. I always schedule a 7am donation. The past 2 donations, they are taking people out of order. Basically, if you are the first one waiting in line when they open the door, you get the first needle, regardless of an appointment or not. These people are horrible. My last 7am donation had me leaving at 8am. One Blood takes appointments, but they don’t keep them. Poor, poor service for getting free blood. I also have a rare blood type. They used to be a lot better. Please go to Lee Health to donate. They are REALLY nice and organized over there, and you won’t have to wait outside in the hot sun for 45 min.

Despite having difficult veins to find, OneBlood staff routinely finds them successfully on the first try. They have been very courteous during every encounter I’ve had there, whether I walk in or make an appointment. The facility is immaculately clean and the thank you gifts are very nice, too.

I went to get a therapeutic blood draw today, 11/23/20. The girl at the desk stated that oneblood policy is appointment only and refused to check me in and perform phlebotomy. This not stated on the Oneblood website. I went to the oneblood on Fiddlesticks in Ft. Myers and, even though they were completely scheduled for appointments today, they promptly got me in and performed phlebotomy. Furthermore, staff at Fiddlesticks stated they were unaware of this policy. Extremely poor service with a poor attitude.

I would really rate at ZERO stars but I must rate one to post. I donated for the first time on 12/9/2020. I have never experienced the lack of professionalism at any other blood donation site as I did here. Over an hour for checkin. Overdraw of blood. No follow up with making sure I was ok after the blood draw. No offer of juice or water. No receipt, unit number, or acknowledgement of donation so that I could check in with the OneBlood website for follow up information. Unbelievable lack of procedure and professionalism for handling human blood products!

I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Friendly staff, and a pretty quick processing time. I like to donate blood about twice a year just to keep doing my part for the local community and I have to say this place makes it easy.
