On Sunday October 14, 2018 I was approached by someone going into the Best Buy located on US1 in Florida city, asking did I want to donate blood. So I said sure why not. After I finished my shopping I went into the ONEBLOOD BUS and began the process of donating blood. During the process of fillin out paper work I was told that I had donated blood before,(Which I don’t recall at all) according to the information I had given. Then I was told that my zip code which is 33035 is not associated with the city of Florida City, but that it’s appropriate name is Flamingo Lodge. Confused much now, I’m trying to figure out how this has happened. No answers given, the person taking my information tells me they’re going to update the information. Then I move on from doing that to giving blood, here’s where my experience was very unpleasant. The person taking my blood(Yadira Rodriguez) was very unprofessional in my opinion and the fact that when I entered the bus she was out side on the phone then came in approx 10 minutes after I was inside sat near front of bus and stayed on the phone. Once she started to take my blood the sleeve that was put on my arm was EXTREMELY tight and I expressed that her. She handed me a ball telling me to squeeze to help with blood flow, so I did. Till the point it was still so tight my hand went numb and I dropped that ball. She put it back in my hand again and told me to squeeze it again, and by this point I was to weak to really say anything. The ball dropped again and I passed out. I can hear somethings being said but I was just to weak to respond to anything that was being said or asked of me. I remember a police officer showing up first then the paramedics. In the time it took for them to show up I may have been going in and out of consciousness too many times to have counted. I hear the first young lady on the phone with 911 telling them this is my first time ever giving blood which according to her intially isn’t true, and also I’m 28 years of age, I’ve seen a doctor before now and have given blood wether it was on a bus or in a hospital. So the excuse I was given for passing out was that I had a panic attack due to the fact it was my first time donating blood. NO! I passed out because my blood circulation was interrupted by the pressure sleeve being too damn tight on my arm and the whole time the paramedics were there I was extremely to weak to tell them this. Oh and let’s talk about the person(Yadira Rodriguez) who took my blood, everyone else stayed on the bus to make sure I was ok, including the person who initially approached me about giving blood but she(Yadira Rodriguez) got off bus and when I was finally able to get up on my own, and leave to get in my car(which paramedics and officer was gone by now) guess where she was, outside on the phone smoking a cigarette. So thanks to this one time experience, I will never ever donate blood, don’t care what the cause or circumstance may be. Thanks ONEBLOOD. Oh yea, and they never gave me my free movie tickets come to think of it. Didn’t even know I was supposed to get one till after I left.

Called to find mobile locations for the keys, and they just hung up on me. Seems like an organization relying on donations would be a little more professional.

Netflix and Donate. For the two hour it takes for platelets, binge a show or catch a movie. Infinity War now on Netflix, just saying.
