Awesome friendly staff, not sure what the one star ppl experienced. Whether walking in or appointment all staff has been courteous and respectful. There doesn’t seem to be any designated receptionist as they are all nurses and same person checking you in may also be the one sticking you with needle. Always check hours of operation as they vary throughout the week.

Terrible. I had an appointment, went on time, signed in, sat in the chair. No one was at desk, several different staff members saw me. But no one acknowledged me or bothered to tell me that someone would help me in how long. I sat there for more than 15 minutes and left. No one bothered to stop me or contact me afterwards. They don’t value your time. I’ve donated here before also and had similar experience that they take their own sweet time and has no efficiency at all. God forbid, if someone showed up without appointment, they make you feel like you are a bother, give you ridiculous amount of estimated wait time, and do everything in their power to exceed that estimation. I’ve seen many people leave angry during each of my prior visits. I’ve always donated blood regularly wherever I lived, never had this kind of experience consistently. I wish there was some other alternative in this area to donate blood products.

I made an appointment online for this location. I have never donated blood before. I showed up at the time of my appointment and there was no one at the front desk. The woman who eventually showed up acted like I was bothering her and was very unfriendly. She then acted like it was a huge effort to have to sit down and put my name into the system since I had never donated before. I didn’t expect to be treated as a savior, but I did expect it to be at least a warm and inviting atmosphere. I ended up having low iron and could not donate anyway. I will not return to this location for my first donation.

I absolutely love Charlene and Juanita!! I’ve been going to the Lake Mary branch for years and have never had a bad experience. The ladies greet me when I come in the door and are very attentive during my platelet donation. I truly enjoy my experience and genuinely feel comfortable as if I was with family! Love these beautiful ladies!!

I was not impressed. I’ve donated a few times with One Blood at mobile sites but this was my first time coming into a branch. I made a 9 am apt, when I got there everything seemed disorganized and no one ever sat down and talked with you about the procedure. When I was actually donating then employees completely ignored the patients and talked amongst themselves comparing different shifts and which ones were better. No check in of “hey how are you doing” and then as soon as I was done they just looked at me and I had to ask ok am I’m done. They told me I would receive a thank you email in 48 hours with a link to log on to the portal. Didn’t receive the email…then when I called to ask the receptionist told me that I wasn’t supposed to receive an email and to figure out how to make an account on my own on the website

First off I’ve been donating for over 23 years in central Florida. Ive donated over 10 gallons. Ive been donating in osceola county the past 12 years just moved recently to Sanford. My daughter and i did a walk in on sun 8/25 at 8:37 a.m. at the Lake Mary office got told it might be a few minutes while waiting 2 people came 20 minutes after me and got taken right back cause they had a 9 a.m appointment while we still waited. We then told it’ll be awhile before they can get to us.
