Two needles. Two hours. Two incredible phlebotomists! I have been donating platelets since 2019, but this is the first time I used two needles. I was apprehensive, but Christina helped me through it! She was friendly, kind, and professional, carefully explaining the entire process. I couldn’t have gotten through it without her steady, calm demeanor. David was also a calming presence. Together, they make a great team!

I had an appointment to donate blood at 2:30pm . I was eager to give blood as I am O- so my blood could have gone to anybody. I drove to the location where google maps lead me and could not find it. I even drove to the other side side of 434 thinking that maybe they had the wrong city listed but still could not find it. I called the number listed but could not reach anybody due to the outpouring of donations after the tragedy (which I understand) It’s just very aggravating when I spent almost a half hour trying to find the location and still couldn’t find it. Now I will have to reschedule at a different location. Please verify and update your location.
