Today I decided to donate due to an extra credit assignment. Desdrie (I’m not sure if I’m spelling that correct. I quickly looked at her badge) this was my first time donating and she was amazing. She explained everything to me, she was checking on me, had small conversation, and even helped take pictures of me to submit for my extra credit, you can tell she enjoyed her job. She said she was at this location for a short time as a fill in but her main location is in winter garden. Definitely will be following her to winter garden. I appreciated how carful and considerate she was. Just the best!

Normally I visit one of the busses when I want to donate but today I decided to try going to a physical location. I showed up early for my appointment at the Apopka donor center and waited for about 10 minutes before an employee was available to help me. Then, she insisted that I didn’t have an appointment and that I must be at the wrong location until I showed her my confirmation email. After showing her my confirmation email she went to another room for about 10 minutes before she came back and gave me a form to fill out. Once the form was completed (less than 30 seconds) the employee was once again gone for over 10 minutes and just left me standing in the waiting room without telling me what was going on.
