Been to this location twice before. As others have stated, yes the staff here is terrible and they all act like emotionally challenged zombies just there to collect a paycheck. This doesn’t bother me which is why I keep coming back. What bothered me today; and is the chief reason I’ll never return to One Blood for any type of donation is that they referred to my child as a LIABILITY! I’ve been bringing my kid with me to nearly every blood donation I’ve had with One Blood and not once has this ever been an issue. My kid is behaved, quiet and knows the routine and respects the people working there, which apparently is far better behavior than the unprofessional, immature women working there. There are plenty of other places to donate blood where you get treated better and where the techs are far more experienced. This location probably needs to dismiss everyone working here and just start fresh with a new staff. Obviously there some sort of systemic toxic culture at this facility that needs to be eliminated.

Will not be coming nack to this location. A girl in training attempted to draw blood from me but missed the vein. No problem, I understand there’s a learning curve. What was NOT okay was the woman she called over for help, who proceeded to wiggle and shove the needle through my arm to get to the vein. When I tell you the PAIN that it caused me, I was doing everything I could not to come up off the seat. Then she gets an attitude and says I’m “too squirmy” for her and that she won’t touch me if I’m going to act like that. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. If that’s how you treat your donors then I want no part of it. I’ve been going to this location for years but never again.

My husband and I just went in a few minutes ago and we had the best experience. They were so kind and so nice. Brittni was fantastic and so professional. The needle stick was painless. Honestly this is the best blood giving experience we’ve had and we do this often!

Very rude and unprofessional. Brittany seemed full of attitude and was surprisingly rude to someone who wants to spend their time to give blood for free. She and another nurse, Shirley, couldn’t figure out how to set the machine so that I could donate even though I am within the weight limit (although I am petite). When I asked if it’s possible to at least do a half donation, they said it wasn’t possible and turned me away. I’ve done half donations with this company before, but what would I know? I’ve donated a few gallons with OneBlood but will either stick to the busses with kind staff, or take my donations somewhere else with competent and friendly staff. Wouldn’t recommend this location at all.

These folks are really nice and very good at their jobs. They treat you with respect and kindness and are gentle with the needles. They always offer you something to drink and give you a snack to eat and take home after you donate. Very comfortable beds to lie on help make the short time it takes to donate blood (5 to 10 minutes) go by fast. This is the place to go if you want to donate quickly and painlessly and be treated like the hero you are!

Brought my husband and 16 yr old daughter to donate blood today as there is a need. We all wore masks because there were 15+ people at the donation center and social distancing isn’t feasible. A woman named Shirley very rudely asked if we were compromised while we were in the waiting room with other people around. Then my husband and daughter were taken back for their screening and I walked with them. Being a nurse I wanted to make sure infection precautions are being taken (i.e. chair wiped down). She again very rudely told me to go have a seat in the waiting room. I asked why I couldn’t accompany my child and she yelled “it’s policy”. Very bad experience due to this woman named Shirley and we won’t be going back to this donation center.

I’ve been to this donor center before and had a good experience. One of the girls asked if I wanted to try platlets. When I returned for platlet appointment I had a woman that was just a rude person. She interrogate me as to how I was going from a whole blood donor to platlets. We are volunteering and trying to help I do not like to have to deal with rudeness. I’m not totally sure but reading the last review I think it was this same Shirley woman. I had a bad feeling with platlets but I will not give whole blood again at this location rude woman.

I think some of the equipment needs some work and and sometimes. I think they don’t talk to you very nicely there.
