I have donated here 4 times now and each time I have been here I have felt welcome, valued and cared for. Everyone has been kind, professional, knowledgeable and overall great! They always have a smile on their face, answer all my questions and treat everyone with respect and kindness. In my time here I have seen a couple of incidents with donors and they were treated quickly, with respect, professionalism, and most of all kindness. The facility is very clean and relaxing. They have several TVs for your entertainment as well as very comfortable chairs and the canteen area is well stocked and very clean. Everyone wears masks and I have always felt safe. I would highly recommend donating any of your blood products here and will be back as scheduled.

I donated yesterday and had a very negative experience. Not even a minute after getting the needle in the staff started panicking saying I was getting too pale, but proceeded to keep drawing blood until they got the whole pint, despite constantly talking about how they were afraid I was going to lose consciousness. In the moment I was trusting that the staff knew what they were doing, but after talking to multiple other healthcare workers I was informed that everything was handled extremely wrong. I will not be donating through this organization again.

I was very pleased with my first experience donating. Risa, Devin, and the team were efficient, hospitable, and knowledgeable. The entire process was easy and enjoyable. It was my first time, and when I felt even a little lightheaded they knew exactly what to do and took great care of me. I am looking forward to returning to this location in the future. Will never donate with this organization. They didn’t allow me to donate due to the fact that the past week I had been stressed out due to my exams. Granted I understand they have protocols but though this was annoying it wasn’t the main issue. My girlfriend was donating blood and her and I both could tell the phlebotomist that was sticking my girlfriend was no where near confident nor competent in her job. I’m a paramedic so sticking people with needles is apart of the job and I will say i’m very good at it even though it’s not our main focus of the job. For a phlebotomist though sticking people is something they should be amazing at and they’re not. It’s scary to know how untrained our person was and to allow them to perform phlebotomists job on real people without being fully competent. Moments after my girlfriend was poked she instantly turned blue. The staff there began immediately freaking out in a very unprofessional manner in which any type of healthcare worker should know how to rename calm in any situation. Her initial blood pressure was 105/64 which is way way way too low to donate blood, and the fact that they were so desperate for candidates that they’d willingly put her in danger says something about their morals. This organization does not hire the best they can and we will not be doing any more drives with them.

I have been donating blood here several years. Each experience is pleasant. I especially want to recognize there are volunteer Jerry. He is fun to talk to and calls you by name when you walk in. I always ask about him on the days he is not volunteering. All of the staff have been very professional and friendly. Makes the blood donation process much easier.

This is only the second time I have been to this center. Very disappointed. It seems as if the manager is the root of the unfriendly atmosphere. It started with the screener, then downhill coasting for 114 minutes. I can find something else better to do with my free time next time. When they call and say, why don’t u donate anymore?

Worst staff I have ever encountered while trying to donate ! When they called saying they were in desperate need of my blood type, I scheduled an appt. I drove an hour to go to their site. They scheduled my appt at 520, when I arrived they started complaining that my donation of double red blood cells would take too long, as they were ready to go home. I told them I had driven an hour to donate & 520 was the time THEY gave me for my appointment. After several minutes they finally took me back to check my iron & take my blood pressure. The lady doing my intake was covered in tattoos and very non professional. She chose a very small cuff and said it wasnt going to work on my muscular arms. I agreed and told her to get an adult cuff ( instead of the one that looked like it was for children). She left and another lady who was supposed to be the manager informed me that they couldn’t do my donation without taking my blood pressure and since they tried once she couldn’t try again. I explained the tattoo girl hadn’t actually TRIED, she only held up a tiny cuff to my arm – it was never fastened- she just held it up. The lady informed that was all she could do. The tiny cuff was the ONLY one they had available.

So. Slow… The staff is overall pretty nice and helpful for the most part. However, employees playing around slows things down a lot, also kind of weird and out of place in this setting. Want to get in and get out and get it over with. I hate to say it, as some of the people are nice and helpful, but overall the place was unprofessional in my personal opinion.
