This place is great. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The wait times can sometimes be a bit long, but it’s worth it. Comfortable chairs and TV to pass the time

Pro: The staff are great. “Ember” was so very kind and professional. He made the experience all the more exciting for a return visit. Con: The Octapharma app is…..can’t rate it yet. It can’t find any record on me.

….Let me give an update… I got there at 6:50pm… already answered my questions via octaapp ..they locked the doors… keep in mind they close doors at 7pm… I usually pump out in 35 min or less on average… I’m a bit pissed that I came after work just to have doors locked early when I have witnessed numerous times no locking of door till 7PM. FIND IT RUDE AND maybe I will consider another facility given this because I was already a bit turned off after a discrepancy in my pay the last time. Still not resolved… But hey guess they don’t really care when you’re just a number and plasma is donated by so many.

I love this place and all of the employees. It is a very relaxing and calm environment. I didn’t give them 5 stars due to their buddy/referral bonus payments not being honored. They say you’ll receive $50 for the new donors 1st donation and $25 for the second. Don’t believe it. My friend donated 2 days ago and I still have yet to receive the first payment of $50. She donates again today so we will see if I get anything from that. I’m not expecting it. It seems they don’t like to honor they’re word. If I don’t receive it today then I will have have to call to see why. I shouldn’t have to do that. All other facilities give you a person in the building, typically a pay window, where you can ask about it and have it added right away. It doesn’t seem to be the case here. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Until then, I’d ask questions before referring anyone if the bonus is something you need as they advertise

Friendly staff. Decent pay( better elsewhere) but really uncomfortable beds. I’m in pain after I leave. Never had it happen any other plasma center. Also very slow staff. And some staff ,when they stick you, will cause blood to come gushing out due to enter incompetence or simply being bad at the job

Excellent been great they did everything possible to get me in and out timely fashion. They were short staffed but went the extra mile especially the nurse who is a pices with red hair. And the all star the skinny young knowledgeable African American girl who was on a 86hour shift. And the bigger African American lady who was training a coworker, short relaxed hair she did my injection smooth no pain I felt like I was in good hands.

It’s a clean and organized facility. With excellent customer service. The phlebotomists are friendly and skilled at what they do. I have difficult veins to stick (which I worried would exclude me from donating), the staff always made me feel at ease. Great place to donate plasma

Octa pays less than CSL but you have a MUCH SMOOTHER and FASTER donation experience which is a big win to me The machines are also modern and your donation can complete in 45 minutes with good hydration and dietary habits vs. the older clunky units that make a lot of fan and mechanical noises and can take up to an hour to complete your donation at other plasma centers plus long wait tines. Octa is fast!

The staff at the SE Portland Location in Portland Oregon was very nice and friendly and the facility was very clean both inside and outside of the building and people greeted me with friendliness and respect and dignity and privacy even about personal questions about the sanitary needs to personal safety and security both inside and outside of the building. I’m part of the Security Industry and I’m a college student working on my college degree. I like donating plasma on a regular basis because of the friendliness and the cleanliness of the plasma facilities and the environment and how plasma donations saves lives in the STEM Industry everyday out in the field for plasma dialysis patients and transfers. It’s more than just about the money, it’s also about having a healthy personal lifestyle and taking care of myself and helping save lives in the entire STEM Industry from Caregiving Jobs to Emergency Rooms and Environmental Natural Hazards Impact and Intensive Treatment Care Units Therapy even for Tri-sculpt Therapy through alternative weight loss treatment plans and medications.

I’ve made a couple dozen donations here. Highly recommended. The staff is friendly and very professional. They make sure you are as comfortable as possible and do their best to make the process as quick and painless as possible.
