Great customer service from the staff! They all work really hard and long hours, especially the needle stickers. Keisha is really great! She is friendly, personable, respectful, and really knows her stuff! And so is Valeria. She really knows her stuff too when it comes to needle sticking and the donation process and protocols to follow before and after donating. Note that the one thing that could be improved is that the men’s bathrooms could be cleaner. It would be great if they were cleaned more often during the day like more than once a day. Also the donation payment amounts have decreased by $5.00 for everyone effective 7/1/2023. We were not given advance notice either, which was very disappointing. My 4 star rating is due to the men’s bathroom and donation issue mentioned above.

I just completed my 8th donation here. Nothing but kind and informative staff and a very efficient donation progress. Everyone who works here is a saint and if you drink a load of water, the donation goes by fast. A wonderful experience every time I come. A very warm and gracious thank you to the incredible staff!

Called in about donating and was told to drop in and expect a 2 hour visit. Check in at the front desk and am told to expect the visit to be 3 hours. Now I’m 3.5 hours in and am told to expect another 2 hours before my physical to be able to proceed.

I started donating blood plasma at the Oakland center last year, then moved to San Pablo because it was closer to my house. I recently moved to Oakland, so this location is more convenient for me to go to again. The center itself is big and has more beds than San Pablo, so even if there are a lot of donors, they can accommodate everyone. The staff are cool and professional. The location of the center is kind of sketchy, but there is a Police department in the plaza so it gives me some piece of mind. They also have onsite security, so I feel safe going there. They’re open really early and close late (7pm) so you can find a time that works for you. I wouldn’t recommend going too late just because of the location.

I’ve never donated plasma before so I don’t know what to compare it too.. but the staff are nice. Everything was explained clearly. And I was paid as soon as I was clear to go. Feels good knowing I’m helping at the same time. I would recommend this facility

The staff is incredibly professional. Even when there are a lot of people, they will get you in and out as quickly as possible. The donation process is smooth and easy. This is a great place to donate plasma.

Feel is friendly environment does good job at weeding out terrorist type people that try cause trouble.Could pay people more based off health and vaccinations being up to date.I think this suggestion could help strengthen those suffering and in need of vaccines.Also they Should offer different type services for donation and a link to a persons primary care doctor could help with centers intake and review of clients so no unforeseen problems happening. Hope this helps all.

Great first time experience. Everyone was friendly, made sure everything was correct and that i was a perfect candidate for my donation, of which i was. During my donation i was checked on making sure i was ok and when i was done everything was all good to go. Definitely going to donate again, do good feel good!
