I think if you are trying to sign up with getting in and out in an hour the first time, this will probably not meet that expectation- probably no where would be that fast – keep in mind they are dealing with blood born pathogens and medical excellence and procedures take a little time. If you go in with the plan of that first appointment being more like an investment of time for future quick cash earnings you will feel better about the time spent – thinking long term. I spent two hours there my first time after walking in to see it and making my app for the following morning. I have earned almost $1000 now it’s fast and easy and takes around and hour and fifteen min. You can check on Google if they are busy by scrolling to the bottom of the page

Incredible service being offered by OctaPharma. Not only does donating provide lifesaving medicines, as a donor, we are significantly compensated & treated fairly & with great courtesy. The staff are amazing here. They are very kind & concerned for the comfort of the clients. I recommend to all to give this a try.

New donor or first time donor planning to do a walk-in? Don’t even bother wasting your time and energy. Tried calling to schedule an appointment and they said they do walk-ins, no appointment through call nor online. Went in at 7:30 and they were not busy. Was told that the next available time slot and will take walk in was 8:30. Waited in the car for a hour. Went in and they said that the slot was taken, but could still fit me in. Person who collected personal information entered info incorrectly. Said they had to submit ticket to IT to fix information. Could not create an account because of that and was sent home at 9:30 and said they’d call on a weekday for an appointment once IT resolves it. Everything was so unorganized and service was terrible.

Nice enough people, wait time is okay, the line does not have anywhere to sit, so if it is a long wait that is a pain. All of that would have been fine, but their payment system COMDATA is HORRIBLE. They charge to use the card at ANY ATM. I had to wait for their system to get fixed to get paid directly into my bank account so I was not charged those fees. After that wait, I was then outside the first time donation window and did not get the larger donation amounts. I spoke to someone at the center, and she did not care. I emailed them about it, and still have not heard back. That was over 2 weeks ago. I feel like I gave them the opportunity to fix it, but they did not. I even waited to post this review. Do not go there, it is NOT worth it.

Went into today and got a FLASE temperature check because it is a hot summer day, we are currently in June, June 22 2023 to be exact. Of course my temperature is going to be a little bit high ! I just got out of a hot car, and they denied me to donate due to my temperature being one point up from 98. They truly do not care about their donors, AT ALL, all they care is if they can get the plasma in that day or not. They do not care if it is inconvenience for donors. They truly do not care and will brush you off for anything that is not beneficial to them.

Overall its fine, lines happen and sometimes people have bad days. My only complaint is a worker who is there on Sundays. Last week I went she was the only one available to stick. Every time she sticks me its like she tries to find a coworker to talk to so she doesn’t really pay attention. It also always hurts when she sticks me but she doesn’t even ask if it feels okay. After me she stuck others and there were 2 no flow alarms going off and one of them had to get re-stuck. She just gives off rude vibes and always acts in a hurry or acts like she doesn’t care.

I highly reccomend going here to donate. I’m a very small individual so I walked into this knowing it probably wont go very well. Surprise surprise it didn’t go well. BUT, the people that work here were so sweet and helpful along the way. When i began to feel ill they sat with me for who knows how long fanning me, giving me an icepack and talking to me reassuringly along the way. They did their best, and were incredible. Even though it was rough for me (my body overreacts to everything), I definitely reccomend Octapharma.

Very nice staff. Compared to Red Cross the exam and questioning seems a bit excessive. They took care of me even though I apparently neglected to eat enough breakfast. I will return.

there is this lady that’s been there i’m guessing longer since she is older but i had the same problem as one of the reviewers. Every time i get her she finds someone else to come and see me before i can even donate and she has a bad attitude like why they got this old lady doing something she obviously doesn’t like, but i also wouldn’t recommend her out where they have you donating or i’d be scared personally.lori is her name.
