I am very pleased with this donation center. Everybody here is pretty knowledgeable and the new people that have to learn quickly so it’s like they’re already been there for a while. But there is this one lady that I have to give a shout out to renounce Miss Aretha she’s very knowledgeable very confident in nice even though I am a difficult donor. In my book she’s A-1. I’ve been to all the octapharma locations in San Antonio and this location is my new favorite. Walking into the center I was a little overwhelmed by how long the line was but I noticed there was staff member for each donor check in. So the line moved pretty quickly. Once vitals and iron was good I waited less then 5 minutes to be called for a bed and then started donating. The overall time I spent here was little less then 3hrs which isn’t bad considering I walked in at noon. What makes this location alot better from the other locations is that it’s FULLY STAFFED.

Been coming here a year, maybe year and a half, and i’ve always had good experiences. the staff is very nice, and some even remember your name, needs, etc if you come often enough. of course there are some cons, like with every place, here some of the techs are either new grads or people who just got hired and haven’t stuck in awhile, so they’re bound to miss once in awhile. i’ve seen negative reviews about the wait-time, so people have to realize that just like themselves, other people might need the money too.

First time donor and the staff was amazing. Very nice and comforting. Carlos, Victoria and Tameeka were super nice & helpful. One thing I love is when you walk into an establishment and people greet you and smile. I got that from everyone I spoke to, it was really nice.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Pedro. This man sets himself apart. It’s very apparent that when he’s here, he came to WORK. He’s fast paced, efficient, and has a feather touch all the while delivering superb customer service with a smile on his face. I would recommend this place to family and friends. Best place to donate plasma. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Clean and cool environment . 10 out of 10 rating. I will definitely continue to donate in the future. I actually will be bringing my younger brother in tomorrow morning for his first donation!

Staff is always super professional and nice! Facilities very clean as well. I wish the lives weren’t always as long and I miss the days when they’d give out OctaPass cards after so many visits so you don’t have to wait in the long lines. Overall, very good experiences there, never have had any issues!

I go donate plasma right after I get off work at 6am. The donation center opens at 7am and I usually get there at 6:15-6:20am. I wait in line until it opens but lately everyone puts stuff on the ground to “hold” their place in line then go back to their cars to sleep or even leave then come back 5 minutes before opening. I just left after I was the only one waiting in line behind a whole row of stuff on the ground to hold people’s place. And the workers do nothing about it.

I was very impressed with this facility with the clean atmosphere and the safty precautions the staff take. Elizabeth P. Was very god, kind and helpful. The donating process not so good. I have great veins and both arms were blown not allowing me to complete the process. First person was new and was told he should not handle new donors. He had no idea how to recognize a new donor. I guess more detail training would help. The other person had experience but did the same thing. I guess it’s luck of the draw. I will go back and try again
