Neglect by some people who work on the main floor. Workers leave as they feel. Workers on the floor often feel overwhelmed this creating more neglect to the Donors on the floor not ideal especially because you’re dealing with peoples body’s.

Initial appointment was 3 hrs and I went at 9:00am and the place was super cold, so take a coat and dress warm if you are cold natured. Everyone was very nice and explained the process fully. Next appt two days later was about and hour and a half at 3:30pm. The donation itself takes about 35-40 mins but the check-in process and waiting in line for health check slows it down. I’m going to work on finding that sweet spot of no line and it is probably late morning, early afternoon when everyone is working. The parking lot is always full, so hard to tell by just driving by. Right now the payout is $100/visit for first 2 visits, then $65/visit thereafter. Don’t do like me and not eat dinner or breakfast before your donation or you will regret it with super lightheadedness and weakness the rest of the day. I loaded up for next visit and it was minimal that time. I’ve already referred three friends!

Overall it’s a decent place. There will be a couple of ignorant donors and trifling workers from time to time. All in all, I’ve had a pleasant experience donating and getting to know the people that work here. Charley, Jade, Scott, James, and a couple more I know I’m forgetting are all the amazing people that keep this place running..

Have you ever felt you should have left a place before you got there? Like 5 minutes prior? “Creepy” is my first description of the North Little Rock Octapharma Plasma location. The first person I met was a patron asking if this was my first visit. I thought he was staff, so I answered politely and honestly. He immediately asked if he could receive credit as a referral. Awkward. “Um, I am referred already,” I lied. He asked the next patron as well. That’s not OP’s fault. Integrity issues abound everywhere. I chatted it up with the other new guy. He’d been waiting 20 minutes already. Hm. And we both had appointments. Yeah, things weren’t looking good. We were finally seen just minutes apart – but now my Spidey sense was tingling. “Run!” Perhaps I’m a glutton for punishment – I wanted to see where this maze of “chilly” led. Speaking of chilly, the personnel are as chilly as the air. HOLD UP – I would be remiss if I didn’t give a positive shoutout to Jacob – the one shining light in an otherwise dark chasm of negativity. Had he been the only encounter with the staff, my rating would have been higher. To be fair, I read the reviews prior to my visit so I gambled a 50/50 chance I would be one of those with a positive experience. Honestly, after my first and only visit, I’m surprised by the volume of folks selling their plasma at this location. One of the intake staff treated me like I was doing him a favor. Enunciating his requests and showing just a bit more respect wouldn’t be too difficult… alas, I’m perhaps too hopeful. Ah, let’s not forget about the intake nurse. She exuded the enthusiasm of one walking the green mile – that’s death row speak. She has the bedside manner of a disgruntled Walmart employee. I’m thinking in the future when I meet a sour staff member, I’ll categorize them as an Octapharma employee. I digress. So, after two and a half hours we parted ways, my plasma still in my body. I’ve donated for free in the past and that “anonymous” organization is tops. I like being treated with respect. I understand folks need the extra income and I, too, like a little extra pocket change. I’m just not willing to part with my dignity. That said, the part about a little bit of extra pocket change, I’ll check out the competition in the near future and you can follow my review to see how that turns out. And finally, negativity is contagious. I wiped my feet off on the way out and took a hot shower. I feel better.

Very professional. I was new to the process and compared to what people had told me about their experience at other locations i was a little nervous. This location was great. The only issue I would say is you can’t get the money off the card unless your using an ATM. The card won’t link to any online banking. it didn’t for me. But the employees did great. Everything was explained and went smooth.

Huge waste of time! They ran me in circles for 3 hours 1 day to finally say I can’t donate. Then say I can come back and just try again. Next time I wasted another 1.5 hours and they finally say that I have to repeat everything I did on the first day but i was already in a chair ready to donate…. I wasn’t waiting another 3 hours to be told I couldn’t donate again. These people don’t know what they are doing. Their equipment is incomplete and scattered everywhere. I had to run room to room because they don’t have everything they need to do the job correctly. They have 1 kiosk out of 6 that actually works that you HAVE to use and it takes forever to use it. and this place can be extremely busy most days. You can (like I did) wait hours on hours to not be able to donate… I left angry, and the woman was acting like it’s my fault that they ran me around, not knowing what they was doing the whole time. To the owner, that phone number does nothing but send me through information prompts, so I don’t know how that was supposed to be helpful. But thanks.

Very friendly staff. A lot of people complain about it taking so long but aren’t considerate of the low staff shortage and the process of entering your information in as a new donor. I was there for a few hours but I understand and I felt that the staff worked as fast as they could. No one appeared lazy. And they were all nice and welcoming.

Very confusing. Very time consuming for my outcome. 3 hrs one day. 1.5 the next.Seems like the patients run the place. I was a bit taken back with the energy of the place. Was expecting a Hospital atmosphere. What i got was place that just exists at best. Employees were over working themselves to help the people there. I was trested very well by everyone who works there. I would suggest disposable aprons for the patients. Their was a gentleman there to donate that was down on his luck. His clothes were very dirt to the extent of human waste was evident on him. This is not a criticism just an observation. That was the Hospital part i mentioned. I was just considering for extra income. I am retired and have treatable health issues and was denied. Personally it was a blessing and learning experience. I wish the Plasma collection business does well. They do help many many people.

Absolutely no stars. I donated back in April. I was deferred for an over loss. Was told when I returned. My payments would stay the same. As I got here Wednesday I even asked was told my payments should be fine. And if they wasn’t to come to the front desk they would fix it. After my donation, of course it wasn’t right!! When I went to the front desk to ask about it. After an hr & 1/2 of waiting. I was told that I couldn’t get it after being told I could so they lied to me to get my donation and they gave me less money than what they were supposed too. Lies bad business just a terrible place to want to donate. Unacceptable in my opinion. To make someone believe they were going to get the payment they were deserved and then after the donation be told they can’t.
