Good place , but the staff need to learn to work and socialize at the same time. 2 people on the floor might be just fine however very slow. At the moment there are 6 people waiting to be poked and one staff is wrapping a person and the other is fixing issues. No one is getting poked one more person might work but not if they all socialize and slack as I’ve seen before.

After being there a few times I’ve noticed that they do not have chairs so you can sit in and sign in as you come in and also that the employees are not changing gloves in between patients which is very unsanitary knowing the way germs are carried from one person to another especially with the virus coming back out in full force in between each and every person that should change their gloves

Staff here is great . It takes a while to get started with the donation process , however , you’ll be done within 1hr 30 minutes to about 2 hours and 30 minutes . Just depends on how busy it is

I donate hear simply because it’s close to home. The staff is hit or miss at about 50/50. They’re either very professional or more interested in running their mouths than paying attention to the stick they’re currently doing. I had one phlebotomist shove clear through the back of my vein and into the tendon because she was looking at who she was talking to instead of my arm. It hurt for a month afterwards. I quit donating for several months hoping she’d be gone when I started back up. I regularly watch people argue about who is doing what instead of jumping into action thus letting the wait back up even more. Again the other half are great. I tried to learn staff schedules to avoid the problems but turn over seems to be pretty fast. I need the cash so I put up with it. I will add that the Gladstone location seems to be much better. I donate there when I can instead.

Was ok to donate. Had a doctor’s note for my issue. Was okayed then told I couldn’t donate. Even though I had a doctor’s note. My doctor said it was ok. Don’t know what kinda doctor they have on site but they will screw you over. Can’t donate for 6 months even though I had paperwork. Too bad they let crackheads and homeless in to donate. I may be unemployed but that’s messed up. I had MY DOCTOR approve it. Apparently they do not have a doctor or physician onsite. I had the paperwork filled out that THEY GAVE ME! And still got screwed. Even after saying I can donate. Glad a normal person not homeless or looking like shot can’t donate. But the really bad looking and messed up ones can. So much for hygiene and not being cracked out. Even the workers won’t help you. 3 times I was there in total I wasted 6 hours to be denied 3 times even after doing what they asked. Hope you all don’t get dirty blood. They don’t care.

I have never experienced such disrespect from people before. The way the conduct business is horrible. I will tell you I have been to this one 2 times already and both times it was a horrible experience. I will NOT be back to this location!!!

Best experience I’ve had actually, since donating plasma in the past. Facility was clean, staff was very nice & accommodating. Nothing bad at all to say about the State Ave location. Everything went great!
