Great, caring staff. I had to come back 2 different times in order to make a sufficient donation. The first time I went in was to much protein in my blood and wasn’t able to give anything. The amazing thing was, because I was stuck with a needle they still paid me the hundred dollar donation fee !!! I had to come one other time after that for which I did not get paid. In all honesty, I understand why. Would you expect to pay someone if you didn’t get anything in return? As they say third time is a charm and I filled that jug up with plasma with the quickness. Staff is all knowledgeable, caring, and very personable. It is my assumption that those who leave bad reviews on how the staff behaved are one of the main reason the staff may it may not act that way…Furthermore, if you want to make a quick $500+ donating plasma is the way to go, and Octapharma is the spot to do it at!!! Happy hustling…

Not the best experience as a first time donor. Wait seemed to be extremely long. While I watched the nurse flirt with a male coworker instead of performing physicals. One employee was playing loud music on his personal phone. They call you back by first name when a bed is free? Misspelled my name so now I’m unable to successfully complete the APP process. Which is extremely inconvenient because the site has only ONE kiosk working so there goes another hour long wait. Only good thing…. was the compensation oh yea.. and the phlebotomist Theresa. She was kind

Avoid Lansing location. Most unprofessional and unorganized. It’s in a vacant storefront, people hanging out Infront smoking weed

I had a very awful experience here! I was a first-time donor and I had arrived a bit after opening to avoid a long waiting time. Upon entrance, it took nearly 20 minutes for the staff to register me as a donor and when I was helped, the woman who had taken my identification was quite rude. She was moaning about having to work that morning and it definitely affected her focus and performance. For a few moments after registering, I was led to one of the examination stations, where I was weighed and curtly told that I had not met the weight requirement. With that she just walked away before I even had a chance to explain my medical history and show that I was in good health. The experience was quite anxiety inducing and now I am not sure if I will ever be able to donate plasma.

Years ago, this place was smoother running. Quick first screening process, donate twice a week, and you’re out.
