I love donating at Octapharma. The staff is amazing and they are all very competent. I think that they are all highly skilled and professional. The facility is so clean. I have been to other plasma clinics and they are the absolute best.

They would get 5 stars if only we could make appointments for our donations. It’s usually “hit-or-miss” on how long the line is just to get screened. There could be a few minutes wait or it may be close to an hour just for the screening. The employees are always courteous and understanding and try to be as efficient as possible. I will give them five stars! Also, the pay structure needs to be adjusted as they have not changed for over a year and a half. Prices and wages have gone up…why not our compensation?

The LPN who did my initial intake was unprofessional. Perhaps he was having an off day, but it made my experience uncomfortable He kept talking about how tired he was and he read the information that was required of him very fast and mechanical as if extremely bored. I am sure doing this over and over is a bit tedious, however it came off as unprofessional. He kept saying to me no one ever listens to me when I did not do as he asked right away. This came off as very condescending. However the philbotonist on the floor was wonderful! She was kind and compassionate,and very helpful.

This place is terrible, I came in with court documentation after I was told on the phone beforehand that it was acceptable(proof of address). I made it all the way to the physical part of the process after sitting waiting for hours to be told that I’m deferred due to having a criminal record after they read irrelevant information and also the woman in charge said racial comments about my girlfriend. The people working there need to be fired and taught a valuable lesson in manners and professionalism. Where can I file a complaint to the higher management? Corporate? These people working there are Racist individuals

Fast, caring, and friendly treatment was provided and no bruising with needle poking was a plus. The only thing they could have done to improve my visit is to have a protein level check done while I was there for a donation immediately after I cleared the level check.

Frustration. Period. I have yet to get an answer to my question as to why Octapharma will not consider offering appointments. I would assume that it would make scheduling better for both the donor and the center as the amount of labor could be better controlled. On January second, I was at the center for over 3 hours. During that time I saw maybe 4 to 6 donors enter the building after myself. The staff told me that they had only 37 donors on New Years Day. What a waste of labor and time.

First time donor. From start to finish took me 2 hours and 30minutes. Frank did a great job sticking me and Will was super helpful with the whole process. Atmosphere was quiet and nice. App seems like a plus to get donors in and out quickly
